I've breastfed four, stopping when baby was down to just a couple of feeds, so between 17 and 23 months and was always full and tender for 6 to 8 weeks to the point where you could not hug me at all, carrying the baby was difficult and turning over in bed more than uncomfortable. Expect it to take a good while before your…

The first circuit in level one is definitely a bit of a killer and I do find circuits two and three easier, but I don't know if that's because I'm more warmed up by then. You're not alone in finding it tough going, but I find every day a little bit easier.

Geared myself up to do the 30 Day Plank Challenge in February (after completing the 30 Day Squat Challenge) and discovered I couldn't get past day 1.That's kinda what made me look for a program that helps to strengthen my core muscles. So nope, can't hold a plank. That's what having five kids does to your insides! However,…

Ha, I don't have weights and have been using tins of baked beans! Seem to be working though. I'm on Level 1, day 8, but don't have time to do it every single day, so it's taken me 11 days to get to day 8. Oh, can't do push ups at all, modified or otherwise, but still feel my arms strengthening with the effort of trying,…

Good luck with the Ab Challenge! I've completed the 30 Day Squat Challenge, failed the 30 Day Plank Challenge and am now doing the 30 Day Shred. They are great motivation to just keep trying and every little bit helps :)

I just put it out there that I'm losing weight and getting fit. If 'my friend' picks up on the conversation I jump right on in there with 'yeah, of course you can do it too if you want, etc. If 'my friend' dismisses the topic casually I let it go, happy that I may have started cogs turning.

We started over at 28 weeks and now she's happy to eat rusks and a little mashed banana. She definitely prefers lumpier food to smooth puree and we have lots more to try. Funny, but she's the exact opposite of my boys at her age.

I've had a 48 hour labour, breech baby and total of five deliveries. I've never had an epidural or pethidine, just entonox and a TENS machine. I was open to the idea of a mobile epidural, but only if absolutely necessary and if I couldn't cope without it. I had heard the scary stories and decided to try and do without.…

Not surprised you had a rough week. That would mess with my head too. I also have ovarian cysts, so sympathise. Luckily mine are small enough not to warrant removing. I just find ovulating very uncomfortable and occasionally painful and sometimes need a few paracetamol. Hope yours are similar or not so bad. You'll still…
