  • Lots of places like Chili's and Famous Daves has calorie information and "healthier" options, but when you look at their calories they're outrageous!!! Go to healthydiningfinder.com It is very cool. Also check out individual restaurant online, and lot of them list calories that are healthy, and you can get great stuff! My…
  • Double
  • Wow! I went to O'Charley's one time, but I looked at the calories ahead of time, and they actually have really good lower calorie options. However, you'd think the salmon would be healthier...
  • That is what Bob said on the past episode. That is all I know.
  • We live on about $150 or less a month. We're trying to save more money every month, but this has been the average for about 4 months or so.
  • That is awesome if this works for you. For me, personally, if I don't have a bite of my husbands wonderful food at dinner on occasion, or a french fry or a bite of a brownie I couldn't do this. I always just eat one bite, enjoy every last second of it, and then continue on with my healthier foods. Now, I only do this like…
  • I am 5'2.5" (YES the .5 matters, lol). When I weighed 260, I was a 24. Now I weigh 189 and I fit into a 14-16! I would like to be an 8. Never have been. I can wear my husband's 34 and 36 jeans.
  • WHOO HOO!!! I am down ANOTHER 7! I hit my goal, plus some...... I would like another 4 please =) hehe. That way I can say to my family 75 lbs down!
  • 1.) Lose the rest of this weight. Not sure what my final goal shall be, I will see when I get close. 2.) Save money. 3.) Build up my PTO at work! 4.) Eat 50% fruits and veggies on a "normal" day. 5.) Take new, good wedding pictures! (I was so big before I am ashamed and don't have ANY pictures up, and our photographer…
  • Her husband isn't the chef, Ed is the chef (the guy that is still on the ranch).
  • Hehe.
  • I am interested.
  • Yeah, it's like butter water....
  • I feel your pain (only, I WISH I were your size). Since I started this in June I wanted to be 209 (started at 260) just so I could weigh less than my husband (who was 210). Well, since we are eating better he is losing weight too! I am 189, and he's 187! I CAN NEVER CATCH UP!!!
  • Honestly? 151 gets you most drunk for the least amount of calories. Now, the taste is bad and you may not be looking for getting drunk and that's fine, I was just throwing that out there. :drinker: Otherwise vodka is a good low cal choice, which is odd seeing as it comes from potatoes.....
  • This is true, but luckily it's about % and not actual weight lost, so it's really fair to everyone technically.
  • I am at 189.2 as of this morning. Now, 4.2 lbs is a lot in 2 weeks, but I average 2.6-3 lbs lost a week so I hope I can do it!
  • Yay! One more week! This has been so much fun!
  • I voted for Ed too! The problem is, being a chef you HAVE to check your food before you give it to the costumer. Now, not *every piece* but a bit of everything you put out. My husband is a kitchen manager of Outback Steakhouse and every day he has to have a bite of everything they sell, which we calculated to be about…
  • How do you guys find out what your target heartrate is? Is it just the standard age thing?
  • I love love love brooks! I wear them to workout and for work (I am a nurse in the operating rooms and I work my 40 hours in about 2-3 days, so I am standing the whole time and my feet don't hurt!) I need to see about Asics though, if they really are just as good but cheaper!
  • I've lost nearly 70 lbs and when I look in the mirror I still see a very large woman with a lot of weight to lose still. I do not see what has been lost, I see what still needs to be lost. Have you compared before and after photos? That is the only time I see my weight loss.
  • You are amazing. Seriously. You were afraid to try, but you did, and you did well! That is so inspiring to me! I say use this experience as your first stepping stone to a brand new you. I KNOW you can do this! :flowerforyou:
  • http://www.healthydiningfinder.com/site/ If you know ahead of time you're going to eat out it is by far the best idea to either look up the restaurant you're eating at (or to choose a healthy place if you can) to see the calories. That way you will not be surprised again at how many calories you ate. Because, they really…
  • I can't really help, but.... Generally "salary" means that is your pay whether you work 20 hours a week or 60, and so there isn't overtime. Could that be what he has?
  • I didn't start until 9/24 at 216.4. If I had started at 8/19 I would've been 228! It's amazing how much I've lost, and everyone else! WOW!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • *You guys meaning "most people". I didn't mean it in a condescending way, just most people I know have never heard of most the beer that we call our favorites.*
  • Taste like butter-water though. lol. Of course my husband and I are beer connoisseurs and drink beer that you guys have probably never heard of, and we also brew our own so we have a different taste for beer. So it might just be us that don't like it, too bad seeing how it's the lowest cal beer ever.
  • Thank you! It's been an *amazing* experience!
  • In the 5 months and 1 week I have been doing this, I have cheated twice. However, the first cheat lasted 4 days and the 2nd one lasted 3..... :grumble: So, I don't allow myself to cheat. I cannot trust that I just won't go crazy like the other two times. However, I never deprive myself and I will eat what I want within…
