  • My goal weight is 117lbs. Currently I'm at 196.4lbs so its going to be a long road, but I've been there before and I'll be there again! I'm also a small person at 5'3" and was always a very petite build so 117lbs is a pretty reasonable number on my body :) I set my original goal at 130lbs, but my trainer encouraged me to…
  • Hi! I don't have the pics to show, but since I started working out with my trainer mid-November I've only lost 10lbs officially (I've replaced at least 1lb of fat with muscle per month, 3 lbs in the first two weeks!) however I have lost 25 inches over my body! The biggest change was thru my back. I went from 40 inches…
  • WOW! Amazing success! I love your attitude, take no prisoners! Keep it up!
  • I can't really relate to your situation, but I can see how you would have a hard time finding motivation right now. My advice would be take things one day at a time, focus on being healthy one decision at a time. Everything always tends to fall into place when we stop focusing on the big picture and learn to take joy from…
  • I think if you're healthy, happy and your body isn't suffering any medical issues due to your size, you're okay! Some people are capable of being very thin without suffering from any sort of disorder. If you're worried about being too thin, go see your doctor and see what they have to say. I wouldn't worry about what some…
  • I've noticed similar! I'm realizing that I dislike a lot of things I thought I liked too!
  • Go home, eat and go for your run :) You'll be happy you did as you endure a stressful few days. Take the time for yourself, and just be in the moment :D Its so easy to get stressed out and neglect ourselves. If you still want that eclair afterwards walk the the furthest bakery, or whatever one goes past a grocery store!…
  • I use the Lululemon Tata tamer II, and the Under Armour sports bra for DD. They work pretty good for me!
  • Those people make me nuts! If your intentions when going to the gym was to look cute and pick up, go to a bar! No makeup and messy hair is my gym staple, and I always cover up! Exercise clothing leaves so little to imagination already, why do you need to expose bare skin!
  • You look amazing! Congrats on making it to the 100's!
  • Walk away. You need someone who will love you and support you in your journey. You can, and will do better for yourself. I may be wrong, but if he wasn't leading an active, healthy lifestyle he could have been contributing to you falling off your path. I had a similar issue with a past relationship. He encouraged me to be…
  • I LOVE PIZZA! I will eat clean all week long so I can eat pizza and drink beer on friday nights. It reminds me of being a kid again (except its beer instead of pop). Don't take the joy out of eating for yourself or you'll end up not eating at all. Which is really counterproductive. Just accept you ate it and move on. No…
  • LOVE THIS! Its so true! Accept that you are the only person who has the power to change your life, and do it! You'll find all the support you need here!
  • I started just where you were back in November! At 5'3" I was 206! I've only lost 10lbs technically but I've lost almost 25 inches, and replaced almost 10lbs of fat with 10lbs of muscle! I havent tried insanity, would love to know how it works for you!
  • My mother had a similar issue with her wedding band, the fluid under the dermis redistributes to accommodate the band, causing an indent. You'll have to switch arms for a few months and let it redistribute. It's nothing major though, its a normal occurrence with anything external that constricts the skin even slightly.
  • Sometimes cutting your calories too low can cause your metabolism to slow down, and you hold on to food longer hence you gain weight. Try eating a few hundred calories more, but in smaller quantities 6 times a day maybe?
  • Hi! I'm looking to lose about 80lbs! Always looking for friends to share the journey with!
  • You should be okay if you go over on your protein, it doesn't negatively affect you in any way. Simple sugars are easily processed too. As for the caloric intake, 1200 is the absolute minimum you should intake. Despite what some people think, anything less than that can and likely will stall your metabolism causing you to…
  • Hi! I used to be a carbaholic too! But once my trainer took me off carbs completely (only for a short time) I had to get creative! The greatest snack/meal I came across to date is tuna on apple slices! or mini sandwiches on cucumber slices!! Delish! I was amazed at how much a really enjoyed eating sans carbs! I was really…
