It never stops! I've lost 109 pounds in just over 10 months (didn't discover this website until half-way through) and I still get people at work advising me on my diet!

I've been using the calories mfp gave me for 5 months. At first I set it to lose 2 pounds a week. Because I was so big I was allowed around 2000 calories a day. This was great! As time went on it kept lowering the amount I could eat, eventually getting to around 1500, which was torture. Still, I stuck with it and ended up…

jodhpurs and knee length riding boots. Be-jeezus!

amazing work! I had the same thing with the heartburn. I got through 2 bottles of tums a week! Since dieting I haven't had heartburn once.

I feel for you. I hate being hungry. My favourite hunger buster is what I have for dinner most evenings. Just a couple of low calorie soft tortilla wraps stuffed (to bursting!) with some grilled chicken and tons of lettuce, onions, peppers and sauerkraut. I discovered a while back that the "little and often" type of dieting…

I had the same problem, constantly hungry! I too was addicted to fast food. The ONLY way to lose weight and feel full is to eat vegetables. Problem is, I hated veggies and maybe you do too. The trick is to hide them. My big thing now is wraps. Stuff some shredded chicken breast in a low cal tortilla and add lettuce,…

Wow! What a transformation, you like like a completely different person. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

As to how many calories you're burning whilst exercising, no-one really knows, it's all estimates, even with your heart rate monitors. I find that eating back about half of my exercise calories seems to answer.

I've been dieting for 6 months hard (83 pounds lost, 15 pounds left to lose) and I'm always hungry. I was a junk food addict all my life and still can't "stomach" vegetables. The things that have helped me push through the hunger, whilst staying under my calories, are egg whites! High protein, low fat, low cal. Hope your…

Nice choice, you'll look like Betty Draper from "Mad Men"!

I got some great advice on this forum that really helped me re: cheat days. Don't plan them. If you plan a cheat day then you'll have time to gather supplies and fantasize about all the goodies you'll plough through. Plan to keep on your diet and stick to it as best you can. If you do happen to fall off the wagon (and…

Do you mean what's been going on in your life or in the sorry state of the world in general?

It's the only reason I drag my carcass over to the ol' stationary bike most days! By the way, lots of people here talking about hunger. I felt that I must share a tip that's really helped me lose weight and stay full. Egg whites! Boil a whole bunch of eggs, keep them in a bowl of water in the fridge and when hunger…

great job buddy, love the pics, gave me a good giggle!

I buy low cal soft tortilla wraps (about 110 cals each) , stuff them with some precooked chicken breast, shredded lettuce and salsa. wrap a couple of them up and you've got a high protein, relatively low-cal meal to eat any time of the day!

Don't get discouraged! I've had many binges on my journey and I've recovered from all of them. I use them as motivation to double down on my workout intensity .

As it's my profile pic I feel I must include: "I know it was you Fredo, you broke my heart" The Godfather part 2

"Come on lads, let's get home, the sky's beginning to bruise, night must fall and we shall be forced to camp" Withnail and I RIP Richard Griffiths

Your diet could use more protein. If you get hungry during the day (and who doesn't?) a solution I've recently discovered is boiling up a batch of eggs and eating the egg whites during the day as a snack. They're packed with protein , only a few calories and very filling!

Gangnam style! I know we're all sick of it now, but for a while there it seemed like the whole world had united to do a silly horsey dance!
