I hardly ever weigh myself. I find that I obsess too much over what I lost/didn't lose. I now measure and weigh myself once a month to gauge my progress level. I make my fiance hide the scale :D

I say if they're doing it for themselves, who cares. It's also helping me. In a country that "supersized" everything a few years ago, I think it's refreshing to see more portion control even in large, overly processed companies.

If I eat ANYTHING remotely overly salted, I can fluctuate up to 5 pounds. I've learned it ignore it and weigh myself every two weeks instead of every day. It wasn't healthy for me to feel down on myself because the scale kept moving. I'm actually seeing a downward trend now, which helps me stay motivated.
