Kale processed in a blender with frozen fruit added produces a great tasting green smoothie. If you don't care for the taste of kale, you will never know it is in there.

You are so right Becky, but it is really hard when there are messages everywhere that it is unacceptable to be overweight. So many young girls have low self esteem and hate their bodies because of what they see and hear in the media, from friends, or even family members.

OK, so then is it possible to achieve goals of losing weight, staying on food plans, or exercise goals etc. if you do not love yourself ? Will you eventually sabotage yourself because you don't feel worthy . I sure hope not.

Today I went to my water aerobics class, mowed the lawn, and made buckets of cabbage soup. If I want to eat junk late at night (my worst time), I'll have a cup of soup. It is loaded with vegetables and is filling. Hope I don't tire of it because I made enough to feed an army.

Discrimination against larger people is real. I would bet that all of us have experienced it to some degree. The sad thing is that it seems to be accepted more readily than other forms of discrimination.
