I have a camelbak that carries 750 mL. I take it with me everywhere, my fiance calls it my "hamster bottle" because i'm always drinking out of it..lol

OK I weighed in this morning at 190.5 lbs :( no change. But I have goals for improvement now :) I'm assuming we are starting our week today since it is the 1st of the month. Since I am totally new to running I'm setting my goal for this week at 3 miles. That's 0.5 mi for 6 days. ( 1 day of rest on my 16 hr shift at work…

Welcome to the Nursing field:) I'm an RN in the Emergency Room by day, busy mom of 4 kids by evening, and tired as hell by night.

I'm a new to running as well. I have a long term goal for a mini triathalon that I hopefully can accomplish next fall. I love to swim and bike yet I always have trouble finding the time :grumble: I have recently tried to incorporate my kids and have them ride their bikes while I walk/run.

I wouldn't think it would matter. I do the same thing so I don't have to get up to go to the bathroom throughout the night. I usually drink my lg amt of water by dinner tho.

My name is Jodie. I started MFP in January 2011 and have slowly lost 35 pounds. I want to drop the weight quicker. Since starting MFP I havent been able to exercise much so i think adding exercise will really drop off the weight. I am a busy mom of 2-4 kids ( 2 being my furture stepchildren that we only get on the…

Friday is a great weigh in day for me:) Then maybe I can stay strong through the weekend :ohwell:

Any more room?? I'm at a standstill as well :( I need some motivation. 4 of my close friends joined this site with me, but after 5 months they are slowing fading away. I would love to lose 10 in July!

I have had the same experience! I started at 225. Now I'm sitting at 190.5 anxiously wanting to get into the 180s any day. It's defintetly a struggle but well worth it.

I'm 5'7" with a goal weight of 150 lbs. 40.5 lbs left to lose!

I'm looking to lose about 50 more pounds. I have been at a standstill for the past 2 months :( I think some motivation and support is what i need. Feel free to friend me, i need all the support i can get:)

I understand your frustration. I have hit a lull in my weight loss recently as well. Just keep at it. Keep logging your calories accurately. Increase your exercising and it will boost your energy. You can do it!!

My life is crazy hectic as well. The one of the ways that I survive and keep losing weight is the phone app. I am on the go so much, I rarely have the time to sit in front of a computer. Another way to stay strong and determined is to evaulate your "priorities" when choosing food.

I'm interested in hearing other choices as well. Mine seem to all be centered around greek yogurt, fruit, and Kashi go lean crunch; averaging around 280 cal. I would love to hear some low carb, high protein, hot quick meals.

Moderation is definitely the key. By blocking out all the foods you crave you are more prone to failure. Logging your food is like admitting you have a problem. The more you are aware the less likely you will over- eat. Your food diary isn't public unless you make it that way. MFP isn't set up to announce your failure. It…

I would love to hear the replies as well. I struggle with getting enough sleep. Unfortunately my days are so chaotic I couldn't squeeze a nap in either :( I am lucky to get 5-6 hrs of sleep/ night.

Awesome Job! I'm struggling my way back to ONEderland as well. 202.5 last week and working my way down:) I bet you feel amazing!

Very cute:) Isn't it awesome how our children love us unconditionally, even when we don't love ourselves that much at times.

I'm from Southern Indiana. so fairly close...lol. You can however go to "find members" and put in your zip to find people within a 30 mile radius of your zip.

My screen name is the same one I use on most sites. I drag race in my spare time and I am an ER nurse. one fast-ER-nurse suits me =)

The wii fit is great to supplement a regular workout schedule. I wouldn't use the wii fit for your only workout because there are too many pauses and the games are too short. There would be no way to keep your heart rate up for a good calorie burn. I love to play my wii fit games for fun tho. The whole family plays against…

Stay away from Ham deli meat. Its very high in sodium. Turkey and chicken are the best deli meats that i have encountered. I'm a salt craver so I feel your pain. I can avoid the sweets but still have to have a lil salt:)

I typically get chicken and shrimp fajitas without the tortillas, sour cream or guac. I also get a chicken taco salad without the shell or cheese. To splurge I get an extra bowl for my chips to help control my portion. The salsa is good for ya tho:)

For the first month on MFP I used my wii fit scale. I didnt think there was a problem because I was definitely seeing a decline in my weight. One day I weighed at work ( I work in the ER at a local hospital) and there was a 11 lb weight gain. So I bought a scale to double check the wii at home. The wii was weighing me 10…

I use a 300 calorie average for breakfast on my 1300 cal diet plan. I do believe good choices in breakfast is a must because it needs to last through my busy morning.

I can actually see the point in getting one of these if my children were younger. Its better for the toddlers to play on this toy one to be like mommy and daddy than to play on the real treadmill that can hurt them. I believe in educating our children on physical fitness before they become obese kids. I encourage my kids…

Figure up the entire dish, then divide it into a normal serving for you. You can create a recipe out of that single serving so you dont have to log each ingredient multiple times. Freezing single servings seperatley should save time too :)

I weigh all my foods. I store a recipe of all my routine foods so its much quicker. I always think the scales are much more accurate than using measuring cups for solid foods.
