Wow.:flowerforyou: Wow to all of you who have done so much to change your lives without surgery. You have actually changed your lives not just had a temporary quick fix. I started at 244 and am now down to 203(ish). I've lost 30lbs since the end of May on the 5:2 diet.

There's a lot of hype about sweetners. Find one that suits your ethics/diet/taste. Avoid white sugar it's empty calories... unless thats what makes you happy. If so work it into your diet plan and don't use it as a big stick to beat yourelf. the same with milk. I use skim and allow myself the 70 cals of 200mls a day.…

This is a fascinating post OP. In 39lbs lost at 5' 6", I've gone from a 40JJ to a 36J. It's so interesting to see how our bodies differ in response to weight loss.

I do pretty much the same thing usually. Try measuring yourself (everywhere! Include knees and arms for example) and you'll more than likely find that in the weeks you don't loose weight you will be loosing inches.
