Bump for later...these look yummy! =)

I don't have many problems with this and I use extra lean ground beef (96/4). However, I would suggest typical meatloaf tricks. You could use a small amount of bread crumbs and eggbeaters. Also, mixing a little bit of ground pork into your ground beef could help keep them together. =)

I have a HRM and enter it as 30DS - Level 1 with the calorie burn from said HRM. =)

I do eat veggies at lunch, mainly baby carrots and celery. I like to use celery in place of crackers or bread for tuna/chicken salad. On rare occasion I also bring in frozen microwaveable veggies to go with lunch. Broccoli and cauliflower (if you like them) make good snacky veggies too. =)

I love the 30DS. I don't have dogs, but I do have cats that like to leap over my head while I'm doing crunches or run laps through the living room right through my path while doing jumping jacks. The workout is short though, and your dogs would be fine segregated in a room while you did 30DS. =)

This morning's breakfast (and it was delicious!): 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese + 1/2 c. Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal (All Bran Flakes make a good substitute as well) + 1/4 c. diced apple + dash cinnamon. Remaining apple served sliced on the side. Iced Chai Tea Latte: 1 tazo chai tea bag (steep for 5 min. 3-4 oz hot water…

Chicken is a must for me. If your wife isn't keen on keeping fresh, raw chicken around, you can always buy frozen chicken breasts or frozen chicken breast tenders. They are easy to prepare, even without thawing. I'll cook up several servings of them at once so I can have chicken for several different meals. They can be…

Two words: Shopping Spree! =) Congrats and go buy some cute summer clothes!

Your muscles are probably retaining water. As your body adapts, this will decrease. Also, I try to wait until after my "rest day" to weight myself. Best of luck! =)

Perhaps you could invest in "Doggie Day Care" a couple of times a week? This will allow the dog to be in a social environment, able to run around, play, and expend some energy. This would help to break up the routine so that the dog wouldn't be alone 5 days a week for 8+ hours a day. And, the important thing is that when…

You should eat foods that are calorie/nutrient dense like nuts, nut butters, avacados, etc. If you are currently using "light" versions of foods, you can try replacing some of them with "whole" versions to increase your calorie intake without increasing the amount of food you have to eat to reach your calorie goal. You…

1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese + 1/2 c. cracklin' oat bran cereal + 1/4 c. diced apple; remaining apple served sliced on the side, Iced Chai Tea Latte (1 tazo tea bag, steep in hot water 5 minutes, then pour over ice, add 1 TBSP Coffee-Mate fat-free French Vanilla creamer and 2 packages of Stevia in the Raw)

Basically anything you like! I like a diced ham and broccoli egg white skillet...yum. Or, if you want to do all veggies: diced bell peppers, diced onions, diced/sliced mushrooms...you can even add diced carrots if you want. Ham and spinach is also a good combination. Spinach and tomato would probably be good too. =)…

Natural peanut butter (or PB2 if the calories and fat from peanut butter don't fit into your day). Maybe "Simply Fruit" jams/spreads would be good too? Or how about your favorite flavor of Greek yogurt to add some protein to the mix?
-
Chobani Blood Orange Greek Yogurt...yum! =)

If you need the carbohydrates, try to make them whole grain. Try whole grain pasta or bread. Brown rice is good. Sweet potatoes or red skin potatoes (cleaned with skin left on). Try cooking your pasta, rice, and potatoes in chicken stock to add flavor without adding lots of calories.

There are a few things you can do. First of all, you don't have to use shampoo every time you shower, you can just rinse your hair. If this leaves your hair feeling greasy when it dries, you can use a dry shampoo. I have one by TIGI that I really like, smells kinda nice and works well. If you insist on using shampoo every…

I don't know what combination of vitamins/supplements you're taking, but when I was taking a vitamin packet I would take them all at once with a meal. Now, however, I just take a single multivitamin (still with a meal though). You should be aware that some vitamins/minerals can prevent absorption of…

Greek yogurt (I prefer Chobani) and/or low-fat cottage cheese are good lower cal sources of protein. Fresh veggies: Carrots, celery, tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber, etc. Fresh fruit: Apples, nectarines, plums, banana, blueberries, etc. Whole grain crackers (good source of fiber, I prefer Kashi). Nuts are great, just be aware…

Definitely Ripped in 30 is a good option. Jillian's Kickboxing DVD just released too. I just ordered it from Amazon today, so I haven't had a chance to personally try it, but the reviews are good and it's only a 20-25 minute work out. I love Jillian workouts!

Chobani Greek yogurt. Amazing stuff! =)

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is 25 minutes. It's a great workout.
