And here you had me thinking there was another NKOTB fan here :) Welcome!

Congrats! I'm down 9 and while I can't see it looking in the mirror, I can feel that my jeans are looser. I plan on keeping a garbage bag full of outgrown (outshrunk??) clothes and taking them to Goodwill. I'm sure someone can use them instead of them going to a landfill!

Skinny Taste's Garlic Lover's Roast Beef Broccoli Potato Mash DQ Butterscotch Dilly Bar for dessert (240 cals compared to over 700 in the small Blizzard I used to get!!)

I was doing a Google search for kettlebells and came across a post on here. I had been on that popular weight loss site with the orange logo... couldn't get into it and stay with it. I think because it's such a big site. I looked around here a bit, signed up and haven't looked back since!

Hobart! Not too far from sixpackgoal. Went to college at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods near Terre Haute.

skinnytaste.com 's Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas! Perfect on a tortilla with avocado and lime, or on rice with avocado and lime!

It's a great time for the Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds 100 cal packs. Just enough chocolate and it's still healthy.

This totally reminds me of the recent Zappos commercial where the customer is returning work out equipment (a treadmill I think?) and getting a deep fryer. She tells the person she's "going in a different direction". It's the funniest thing.

Valentine's Day will be 1 year pop free! Yay! My husband lives off of Mountain Dew. He doesn't rinse his cans, which leaves me to do it. I don't even like the smell of it anymore. I was drinking up to 4 cans a day. I won't say how many he drinks... (And yes, I've physically shown him how much sugar is in it, calories, etc,…

Baby carrots! I use light ranch with a teensy bit of chipotle stirred in.

The last one here (US) was a Valentine's chocolate challenge. The one who "won" ate 35 pieces of candy.

Another vote for acorn squash. Next time, roast the seeds! I like them better than pumpkin seeds. The hulls are a bit softer. I just misted with olive oil, added a bit of Adobo seasoning, and roasted at 225 till they started popping, about 15 mins.

Good to have you here! I joined last month and love it!

Same here, too. Someone on this site suggested skinnytaste.com Her recipes are amazing! I've made 4 so far, making another today. My friends on Facebook are probably tired of hearing about it already :)

I record it to watch during the day (same with I Used To Be Fat and Biggest Loser). Then I can set up my WII Walk It Out to run while I'm watching so I can have some more motivation :)

Stay home and make a nice dinner for my husband and son! We don't go out for V-Day. There's too much hype. I'd rather go out for a random occassion!
-
Dontgiveup82 - Try the link I posted! I'm making them this weekend. Desirai - No problem :) I found that blog on a posting here! I've made the Garlic Lovers Roast and Roasted Acorn Squash so far. Both were quite good!

You can defrost raw meat, cook it, then refreeze. Just shouldn't refreeze it raw. But I'd be getting fresh anyway :) Thanks everyone!

I'm in NW IN and quite disappointed with our Snowpocalypse. We only got 8-13 inches. My uncle in Lansing IL had 4 ft drifts, but we didn't get that wind here. It's a blessing I guess, at least we aren't coated in ice like Indianapolis is!
-
Wow... I never considered using it any other way than on a bagel thin/toast!! Thanks for the ideas :)

Tupperware SmartSteamer - truly steams foods in the microwave. I use it for veggies, fish and chicken. Tupperware Chop N Prep - smaller chopper for nuts, garlic, quick healthy chicken or egg salad for one or two Tupperware Quick Chef - larger chopper, I make a great fruit salsa with it, and also use it to chop…

My husband isn't interested in those shows, so I record Biggest Loser, Heavy and I Used To Be Fat and watch them over the week. I always set up my Wii with Walk It Out, and switch back to tv so I'm logging my steps/calories. I don't have gym equipment, but I'd love to get a treadmill or elliptical to watch these shows!

I just made the Garlic Lover's Roast two nights ago. It was awesome! My husband is a "meat and potatoes" guy and loved it. My 21 month old son asked for thirds. We made sandwiches with it the next day. Yummy!

It's a step in the right direction. It's also where I get most of my produce during the winter. Summer = farmers markets and my own garden. I go to one 15 minutes from my house one way as opposed to 10 minutes the other way because they have fresher produce and a cleaner store.
-
I plan on making these a lot this summer (or if I can find a decent zucchini in the store...) http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/05/turkey-burgers-with-zucchini.html

I love, love, love my Tupperware SmartSteamer. I have done tilapia, chicken, various veggies. Everything turns out wonderful!

I refuse to eat Taco Bell's "beef". I get mexican pizzas, no meat.

Flintstones with Iron :) I started taking them instead of prenatals when I was pregnant (doctor suggestion). It's the only iron that doesn't mess with me.

I just changed mine to friends only last night. And funny, now I couldn't tell you why :) Guess I'll change it back to open. I don't care if you see that I had a chocolate cupcake for an afternoon snack. And really, if someone judges you by what's in there... they aren't a "friend" anyway. I like seeing when someone on my…
