Have you checked torrid.com ?

Hey - just wondering. Did they cause your weight to go up even when you were logging calories? Did you get a feel for why? I'm using the Costco bar that is comparable to the Quest bar and have been stuck for a while. So if you have an answer or even guess about this I'd be most appreciative.

Easy to solve. Go to your local favorite grocery or discount store. Get a set of dry measuring cups for .........dry ingredients. A set of liquid measuring cups for........liquid ingredients. Can't tell the difference. Ask for help and you'll be all set!

Nothing that tucks in or accents the waist when I'm heavy. My legs are pretty decent and muscular even when I'm at my heaviest, but leggings with tunics and never never anything fitted up top. Broad shoulders with fat back so a double whammy. Avoid sleeveless tops as well at heavy - but that's probably an age thing rather…

Are you still hung up on the 40 lb. in a month business? If so, you don't get to eat ever. Sorry.
-
So you want to weight 109? Even if you COULD lose 40 lbs in a month, at your height you'd be way at the bottom of healthy, right at the border of underweight. I need to lose weight (I'm substantially taller than you) but my aim is mid-range. There must be some value to the 40 lb number that I'm missing unless you're…

Weigh/measure food carefully as well as the oil/fat you use for cooking. Most are in the database. Oils/fat - high in calories - although not all absorbed I usually count the fat that I cook in into my daily calories. And I think (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) is usually the way it works. Which is why I tend to…

Game hens are 39-40% bone. So a typical (you can weight before cooking to double-check) game hen, at 20 oz, is 12 oz. raw meat. MFP has this information and I think it's pretty accurate: Generic - Cornish Game Hen (Skin Not Eaten), 1 hen (20 oz raw). Part of the fun of a game hen is the presentation - either whole or in…

One of the biggest shocks with fruit is learning what is small/med/large. A medium orange or apple weighs much less than we've gotten used to when we shop for fruit. I had to go though a learning curve - found that most of the apples that I'd been eating, for example were the equivalent of 2 servings - not 1.

Okay - just a couple of observations here. You're a lovely girl now, but you were also lovely at your heaviest. The people who shouted derogatory slurs at you - well, what can I say. Stay out of that neighborhood and avoid hoodlums like them; those people are not to be trusted even if they shout compliments at you now!…

As active as you are I don't think you need to worry about counting steps.

I found a guide - don't know if the link will be accepted here. This is just a rough rule - now that rises are low/mid and all that, standards are non-existent it seems. missme.com/pages/womens-jeans-size-guide

My legs/thighs are almost always in good shape - genetic luck of the draw. But the belly, fat back, pones on upper hips - last things to go. Nothing like a flat fanny topped by fat pones - ugly stuff!

1/2 gal jug of cold water, 10 Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger tea bags. Let sit overnight - good to go.

Sizing is so strange. I wore 12s when I was 125 in my 20s. When I gain ANYTHING and get a rounded tummy that the center seam has to go around (the rise), often have to go up at least 1 and usually 2 sizes. Even clothes called "tall" often just have longer inseams without rise adjustments. Write all this to say that weight,…

If you have the fatty liver diagnosis, the doctor is also warning you about a possibly very serious issue, especially if you drink alcohol. I don't think that it's only a problem for people who drink alcohol, but that was the case for my husband. If you haven't looked it up, please do so. It's important that you understand.

For the record, candy corn ALWAYS tasted like plastic! Glad you figured that out!

Mine just jiggles and I try not to look! This is funny!

Wow, what a lot of strong opinions here! Okay, we all have basal metabolism rates that required x amount of energy intake - known as calories to most of us. At least those of us alive enough to have strong opinions! And then we need calories to support our activity activity (from sedentary through athlete). So what is the…

Use the MFP calculator to compute maintenance calories, if you want to take a break. Or change weight loss goal to 1/2 lb weekly. That should give you a new higher calorie range close to maintenance without going over.
-
I agree that you may need someone to help you get through this. However I suggest that you start by developing weekly menu plans and then eating according to that plan - WHETHER YOU ARE HUNGRY OR NOT. Only because your self-aware paranoia will make this work for you. Noon - it's time for your meal and you have already…

No meat protein at all? Ever? Okay, that's fine. Using this meal as an example, I would make a salad dressing with olive oil for the salad - 1 T would push you to 1000 calories and be good for your skin/system. Or a Tablespoon of REAL butter on your potato/roasted vegetables. You'd be improving the flavors and make it…

Use calculators to find your weight range. Then, when you reach the top of the range you can evaluate and decide if you should go lower. But if you can stay motivated by monitoring your daily/weekly calories while you trim down and shape up without focusing on a goal weight, that's fine, too. I can't do that, but if you…

I AM a foodie - which is part of the weight issue. Love recipes calling for extra virgin olive oils, ribs slow smoked on the grill, making and comparing cheesecake recipes, prosciutto in the brussel sprouts, ... . Not good for calorie counting. I can do it but have to be sure that quality is exchanged for quantity.…
