I agree that no food is not bad as long as it fits in your plan, but having said that, the 2 foods that are the most difficult to fit in are: Donut and coffee ice cream (not worth the calories. Coffee flavor is not strong at all) Bagelfuls (EFFING AMAZING!!! Buy them now!!! Why are you still reading this message?!? GO…

If I was at a gas station on the road: beef jerky (there's a thick version called beef steak. For one ounce, it's 60 calories and 12g of protein), nuts, milk, trail mix, coffee. :) If I am pre-planning snacks ahead of time before I get on the road: dried apricots, pistachios, protein bar, banana, hard boiled eggs.

90 calories for dinner?!? Dang that is some poor planning. I'd either go over or go to bed. MAYBE as a bed time snack I'd have a caffeine free diet pop and a sugar free jello pudding.

Carbs are not the enemy when you have your calories under control and you have no medical issues. All three macros have a rightful place in our regimen. Once you're protein, fat and micro minimums have been met, you can fill the rest of your allotted calories with whatever you choose, guilt free. Cutting carbs will only…

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I have a family reunion (lunch) and a bachelorette party (dinner) on the 5th. I may have to go for an early morning run. Otherwise, I'm not too worried. Lunch will be stuffed grape leaves so that should be tasty and relatively low cal. I do plan on drinking tho!

So amazing!! Congrats! Maybe some day I'll have a similar story. :)

I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but is it possible that you're hypoglycemic? I am. I have to eat throughout the day or I risk hitting "the point of no return" (I gave this name to the headache and occasional nausea that only goes away after sleep, not just a 30min nap, but a long sleep session). On the…

For weight loss, it's all about the calorie deficit. If you want to maximize fat loss and retain as much muscle mass as possible, then lift heavy while on a deficit.

All macros have a rightful place within our regimen for different reasons. For strictly weight loss, it's all about the calorie deficit. Body composition is another story.

Once you go black.... you sometimes go back. I usually take mine black, but I like it creamy and sweet every now and then. I had a shot of Baileys in my cup this morning. :drinker:

I agree with what a few others are saying. Your weight is likely within the perfectly healthy range, but if you're unhappy with your body composition, eat around maintenance, get enough protein (aim for 1g of LBM), and find a progressive lifting program that you like. I would recommend a full body lifting routine 3x a…

All three of your goals can be accomplished without herbalife. I'm willing be bet that you can achieve weight/fat loss while netting more than 1000 calories per day. Check this out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants And this too:…

I take a MegaRed when I don't eat fish. I take Citrical when I didn't get enough calcium from food I take one iron tablet a week if I didn't met my iron goal. I take a liquid vitamin A&C if I didn't eat enough fruits and veggies. I take a probiotic nearly every day.

If you've met your macro and micro goals, maybe try drinking some calories (wine!!). Or you could eat some high calorie treats like peanut butter, nutella, or biscoff. Your diary is closed, so I don't know what you're eating now, but stay away from "low fat" or "fat free" stuff to up your calorie intake. Cook veggies in…

QFT! To answer the OP's concern: meal timing is personal preference, but you do need to nourish your body.
-
Meal timing is personal preference. It is not directly responsible for weight loss. If eating more often helps you stick to your calorie goal, then great! It's not a requirement, though. Starvation mode in this sense is false. When you lose weight, you lose fat and muscle. When the calorie deficit is too aggressive (and…

I also do not have a lot of information on the subject, so I apologize. Are you worried about hydration? I would then say that as long as your urine is a light yellow or almost clear by the end of the day, then you're good. Also, I think I know the scale you're using. From what I've heard as far as body fat goes, it's…

I really enjoy ricotta cheese. It's not as sour as plain yogurt and it's not as salty as cottage cheese (not that there's anything wrong with salt, but I usually have a sweet tooth  ). I take some ricotta cheese (Dairy Farms makes a ricotta cheese that's closer to the texture of yogurt) and mix it with instant…

Brands: 1st place: Godiva Tied for 2nd place: Dove, Lindt, Ghirardelli I'm a huge fan of truffles. I also like Reese's peanut butter EGGS (more peanut butter), chocolate covered berries and nutella. I will eat any type of chocolate treat that is combined with peanut butter, coffee or raspberry. I love white chocolate the…

Just so we're clear, you can't spot reduce.... unfortunately. Also, I wouldn't take these comments too personally. A lot of people are just trying to be funny or blunt to get your attention. :flowerforyou:

I'm not worried about what you eat or what tricks you follow. I'm worried about the newbies and lurkers that are going to believe that this is the only way. Then they'll either get confused or embarrassed when someone tries to correct them. This is just too complicated and won't work for everyone... So then they're not…
