I been on steroids for lupus...long time and also other meds that cause weight gain.. But l been losing weight since Jan...11pounds and then another 12 Pounds since joining MFP in Feb...it can make it harder but l realise now it can be done.

Coke...any frizzy drinks...and wine used to drink at least 6 cans of coke a day. Was very hard at first..but l now 10 weeks in to not drinking any of the above

Wow Amber well done on your weight loss. I got another 40+ to lose I been using MFP since Feb. But since January l have lost 21 pounds. I also looking for new friends . I have fibro and Lupus and several other immune disorders last 24 years...But here I am dieting and exercising...was told my Specialist to get the weight off and get moving more...So here goes... Get your friend to come and join us...Everyone is so friendly and supportive

Sadly my Cat died in January she was 19 years old...still miss her

I quit drinking coke on 15th January and just went cold turkey...and boy I drank at least 6 cans a day ...now I drink at least 2 litres of water a day and herbal teas...what a difference it makes.

I try and log my breakfast...lunch and dinner and then know what extras health stuff I can have in the rest of day...within my calories Find it helps me from picking Sheila
