I chew sugar free gum, chew on ice chips or Life savers sugar free candies are great and only 30 calories. The life savers are really sweet and kill the sweet tooth. I find at night when I want to eat. Its out of boredom not because I need the food.

My sons been sick so I havent been logging. I have my hands full lol.But I am pretty much eating the same things. I cut back on how much I was eating at one sitting and was snacking more in between but that doesnt seem to help either. I have bought a jump rope to use here at home which I have never used in any of my work…

my frustration is ice cream and things. Klondike 100 calories ice cream bars but a serving size is 2 which is 200 calories.Thats not fair. But I have found other alternatives. Regular popsicles are only 45 calories and those are good for a treat. There are also sugar free life savers that I got in my fave flavor, cherry,…

I applaud you indeed. I know exactly how you felt and with every 10 lbs I lost I celebrated. Never fear you will lose as much as you are determined to.No Question about it. I have lost 74 lbs, gained a few pounds back and lost half of what I gained in the last week. So I am getting back there. Just taking a little time.…

We have a pair of TV EARS is what they are called. We can mute the main tv and it doesnt affect the volume on the headset at all. It just plugs into the av jack on the tv.

I weigh myself every morning and record it. I dont get too upset with a little change. But its when I gained a few pounds that I get upset.

I am really and truely sorry you feel this way but I can tell you I felt the same way for a long long time. That is a great motivator. I have a few songs on my mp3 player that I wear during my work out that gets me in a good pace but are sexy in nature that makes me want to dance to them. Music is a huge part of my life and makes me feel better when I am blue and keeps me moving when I dont think I can move anymore. I am glad…

I feel your frustration. My husband married me when I was my heaviest. He is 6 ft 2 and wears a 32 inch waist in pants so far from heavy at all. Ive had a child and have become a stay at home mom. Now that I am busting my hump to get into shape because I am sick of myself and cant do the things with my son that Id like to…

I love weighing in daily. It pushes me when I start the day out with a bad weigh in and it pushes me when I have a good weigh in. I know right? silly. But when I am doing good I am motivated to bust my hump a little more and when the scale wags its nasty lil finger at me for having too much to eat the day before I push…

I eat the 90 calories granola bars from Quaker as a quick and easy on the go snack. Oranges are my fave to snack on. cottage cheese with some fruit would be good too though I dont like to mix mine. Wheat thins for about 14-16 of those is like 100 calories or something like that. Id have to double check. You can always…

When I first went and bought clothes after I lost a bunch of weight I bought them a hair too tight so it would motivate me to lose more weight and would last that hair longer. Also belt the pants that are too big, i keep threatening to buy suspenders. I have lost 72 lbs and just got rid of my jeans that I was wearing when…

My fave thing to eat is an orange. Honestly. Not real sure what all it counts as but they are flavorful juicy and are not pumped full of chemical crap. hope this helps.

Laura, welcome to MFP. I just joined recently. This is a great page and I have found people to be very welcoming and embracing. I started my journey Aug 2010 and I am down 72 lbs. It hasnt been easy and i have to credit some of my weight loss to medication the doctor has me on. I wish you all the best. Get motivated and…

you can pick up some pretty good meal replacements that are really low in calories and high in protein and keep you full from GNC. Mine kept me full for a few hours when it was about snack time anyway to keep yourself going. Grab the 90 calorie granola bar as a snack to help you through the day. I am a full time stay at…

Hello. My name is Celeste. I am 29 years old and have 1 boy who is 3 years old and a handful. I started my weight loss journey back in July when I took my son to a small amusement park and realized I couldnt fit on any of the rides with him. So I contacted my DR and decided on some medication that would assist my weight…

I havent been here but a few days but I have been doing this weight loss journey for about 6 months now and it never fails when TOM hits I either gain or I dont lose. Just how hard I work out and focus on what I am eating. But everyone is different. This time I gained 1 or 2 lbs I think but TOM isnt over and I am losing…

Id like to join this group though I am a little later than the rest of you to start. However, I have worked out every day for the last week starting from 1/9/11. I may not write down how long or how far but I do write down what I did work on and how many calories I burned. I try to work out for at least 40 minutes a day…

I have to say that a goal is better (for me) If I dont have a timeline to look at and something to strive for then I may not push myself as hard. Ill be lax and lazier than I should be. Even if it is to lose 2 lbs by the end of this week or whatever the case may be. Even use special events. Anything to give you something…
