I average about 1,300 calories a day and lose 5 pounds a week. I also started this journey on 1/1 and weighed 420.2 pounds at the time.
-
I only eat food that I know will make me full.
-
I have a long way to go too, but be proud of what you have accomplished so far.
-
Since I began my journey, the only meat I eat is chicken and seafood. I don't eat red meat, because its a "gateway food" for me.
-
What in the hell are you all talking about?

I would switch to Dannon Greek yogurt. (It has the fruit at the bottom.) You're has 18g of sugar, Dannon has 8. Its very good.

See if things like apples, yogurt, and Kellogs Nutrigrain satisfy your sweet tooth.

My ultimate goal is 220.
-
I have a lot of working out to do to get to 5% body fat.
-
I couldn't imagine only weighing 160. I would be happy with 220.
-
Mine is currently 47. I would be satisfied with 33.

It looks like I'm going to lose 45 pounds in two months, but I'm obese. What are your stats?
-
I ordered a Fitbit earlier this week.
-
I'm also extremely overweight. My menu is repetitive, but I eat healthy stuff that I enjoy. I'll start exercising in the next few months.
-
I eat things like yogurt and apples for my sweets. I see in your diary that you like McDonalds. Try their oatmeal and fruit and yogurt parfaits.
-
I'm also curious as to what advice they might have. I have a ton of weight to lose. I began my journey on 1/1, and have lost 38 pounds so far. I'm 6'3" and eat 1,400 calories. I have not started exercising yet.
-
I began this journey on 1/1, and I would like to lose 100 pounds by the end of June.
-
This is normal, and should not be an excuse to "cheat" at this point. I lost 10 pounds my first week. Congratulations on your first 6 pounds.
-
I don't trust myself to "cheat" at this point. When I tried this journey six years ago, I had a "cheat day" on the one month anniversary, I ate three Whoppers, and that was the end of my journey.
-
That's good to know. I began my journey on 1/1 and lost 10 pounds the first week. I've averaged 4 the rest.
-
Popcorn and apples have really helped me.
-
The first place I noticed was my arms.
-
I'm having McDonalds too! The grilled chicken Ceasar salad. LOL.
-
"Big mistake." Just kidding. That was nice of your husband.

I began my journey on 1/1, and it looks like you and I have a similar eating philosohy. I've lost 34 pounds so far, with no exercise. I'm also huge. I pretty much eat the same thing everyday, and I haven't gotten bored. Feel free to check out my diary, even though I've only been here a week.

I think it depends on the person. I'm in the early stages, and I don't trust myself at this point.
-
I would like to be close to losing 100 pounds.
-
I began this journey on 1/1, and I don't plan to until I've lost 100 pounds.

Thank you guys. That is very helpful.
