I agree with a lot of what you say but I just have to make a slight point. You can not prove something is safe with the food testing, you can only prove the absence of side effects from the test. That said, aspartame is the most tested food additive ever and nothing negative has ever been proven in any legitimate study.

Doctors in general, not just cardiologists. My doctor told me that I should limit my carbohydrate intake to 15g per meal which is completely insane according to my nutritionist who is also a registered dietitian and certified diabetes instructor.

TDEE and my nutritionist both place me around 2700, however, I wanted to eat cleaner which allows me to eat more at a much lower calorie intake so my nutritionist and doctor both support me with setting a goal of 2100 calories a day.
