That's a great full beard. The only way it's going to get better is with length, so I'm saying 9 now for sure, and will be a 10+ once at chest or longer length. Looks super good on you too!

LOL - I can't believe I did take pics at my heaviest, but by then the decision to do this had been made and I KNEW I'd want to see. Your pics are freaking FANTASTIC...I can't wait to get there myself. Thanks for being you!

Motivating others motivates me!!! I LOVE success, and others' success fuels mine. MFP is a wonderful tool for that, as is training and meeting and exceeding goals. Thanks so much...you're just all so GREAT! :flowerforyou:

Try a small goal for only a week...in bed at nine, but NO looking for something else to do (I'm so guilty of this myself - channel surfing or on the net). I did a sleep study once and when he tracked my sleep chart he was like, SHUT OFF THE LIGHTS AND GO TO BED! Lights off, laying there quietly, until you fall asleep, for…

I have 157 lbs of lean muscle mass at 5 ft 9" and my current goal weight is 200lbs which would put me at 25% body fat. And I'm going to look terrible? I believe you think tiny is the only size that looks good on women. Good for you...people are beautiful and strong who, when confident, can look AMAZING regardless. That's…

I'll go to gym tonight where my FEMALE figure champion trainer is nursing one of her children out of illness while eating fish for breakfast to get ready for Nationals and is planning on training for 12 hours today. After reading this post, I'm sure she'll want me to take it easy so that I can make sandwiches properly…

Mmmm. A hunk of dark chocolate goes a long way and is good for you. Another good tip, look up how much you have to do to burn off whatever you're about to put in your mouth. You might still want it, but if it's too much to work it off, I can usually tell myself to either put it down and step away, or, only eat half! Good…

^^This was incredibly helpful to me. I was feeling like with a lot to lose I should be losing faster. The point is I'm losing, and I should be happy about it! Not beating myself up...Thanks...:flowerforyou:

My personal trainer uses kettle bells and I bought a 3 pack (5, 10 and 15 lbs) from Amazon. I love them, and the swings are great for interval aerobics and strength training. If yucky out you can use the treadmill, and you swing as many times as you can for 30 seconds (10 second rest) then 20 seconds(10 second rest) then…

I've always wanted to do one of the Diabetes Run for the Cure. They always have the runs in these amazing locations. I'm DOING IT! I'm setting a quit date for September 25th for smoking - my 40th birthday. Thanks for your inspiring story!

Would love some new friends! I am going to turn 40 years old this year. My highest weight was actually 316 in April of this year. I'm down to 265 lbs. My current goal weight is 179 lbs. We can do this together! My diary is open and comment (positively) whenever I can!

YOU = SUCCESS! Congratulations, what an excellent motivational post on a Monday! Love it...can't wait for my strength training class tonight.

Mine is open...I think it's just a personal choice. I also like to check out others for recipes and will note where I got a recipe if I had a particularly good meal so that others can see it too.
