It is accurate as long as the calories and exercise burn are measured correctly. Having a blog about undereating is going to encourage a lot of people to eat more than they need to. Unless you're anorexic and really don't eat much, most people are fine or should eat less.

Yes, it's food and water. At night your body doesn't intake anymore water but you still burn calories from being alive. Then in the morning you weigh a few pounds less, especially if you weigh yourself first thing in the morning right after using the restroom.

The key is to stay under your calorie goal. Eat 80% healthy/20% indulgence. You can still have treats while staying under. Allow yourself one day a week to go over. Add up your "green" points from the previous 6 days and then on day 7 that is your "red" limit. This allows you to have a normal social life so you can go out…

Feel free to add me. This is my 46th day in a row so I've been on here a lot lately (last year I registered and left which is why my join date isn't April 2014).

We had one a long time ago but not in recent years. I'd like to plant one maybe next year. We had tomatoes, corn, zucchini.

It depends on how one defines "rude" and "arrogant." People are going to give advice based on their personal experiences. Some people have more direct personalities than others, they prefer to tell it like it is instead of being "nice." Some people respond better to direct advice/criticism while others prefer people to be…

2000 calories a day is fine as long as it's a deficit for you. At some point 2000 may be too high and you will maintain or gain weight so I would suggest slowly cutting back on calories. Exercise is good for body composition, but I would try not to eat back those calories (up to 1/2) because a lot of MFP calories burned…

Yes, I always accept friend requests.

I would not recommend eating back more than 1/2 your exercise calories due to underestimation in calories eaten and overestimation in calorie burned. But eating back some is good especially if you burn a lot of calories.

Nice job!

You can't spot reduce belly fat; it's an overall body fat percentage and your body will choose which order to take the fat off in. Just eat at a deficit and exercise. I would suggest not keeping snacks in the house if you feel tempted to eat them. You could fast during the day and then you can still have some snacks…

Great job! Thanks for sharing your story. :)

I want to try it at some point but I have no money, lol. It's $4.33 per shake. I think it depends on how much you normally spend in the morning for breakfast and if you're willing to switch out the coffee for a shake because it's a meal replacement.

Make sure you are accurately counting your calories eaten and calories burned. Remember that MFP often underestimates food and overestimates exercise. So only eat back 1/2 your exercise calories to make sure you don't go over your daily goal. Also remember that unless it's been a month it could be water retention during…

Honestly, it's too early to tell because you still have back fat. You will need to lower your body fat percentage over the coming months and then post a new pic, maybe at the end of the summer. I used to think my back was wide but now it's more normal looking since I've lost some weight. I still have a bit of a stomach…

You will lose weight by eating at a calorie deficit. But you'll lose muscle as well as fat which is why exercise and a good diet are recommended, to preserve as much muscle as possible. Exercise can help burn calories if you go over your goal. Based on your profile pic, you don't look like you need to lose weight (eat at a…

Talk to a nutritionist. It's okay to be small but you need to make sure you are getting all the right food groups and vitamins. You don't want to mess up your health in later life just because you liked looking skinny in your teens. If you like looking small you can also do weight training. Gain a little weight but you…

A lot of people have lost weight without weighing their food simply by using portion control (use a small plate of food, don't get seconds until it's been 20-30 minutes and you know if you're really still hungry or not, limit fast food to two small items, etc). This is very manageable for a lot of people and is a long-term…

You need to just keep doing what you're doing. Your body is going to take the fat off in whatever order it chooses. Lose as much as you can through eating right and exercise and then next summer you can look at this year's pics as "before" and see how much more you lost. There is simply not enough time to lose belly fat in…

I would go for a body fat percentage goal instead of a weight goal (although weight goals on here are necessary for the tickers). Some weeks you won't see a big difference or might even gain a pound, but you will lose inches which means you're gaining muscle and losing fat.
-
Good job!
-
I would decrease carbs, increase protein, and lift more weights. If you don't lose weight you'll at least lose inches so you'll be muscular.

Not in the UK but I do have ancestors from there. And some cousins that live there now. Height: 5' 4" Weight: 9st 13lb Dress size: 10-12 (UK; in US it's 8-10)

5' 4". I have always been a size 8... when I weighed 120 and 160 I still fit into the same pants. I was a size 6 when I was 15-16 and I probably weighed around 115-118.

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal If you have 15-25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal Yes, it is nice when you get a big drop on the scale.…

The fat comes off where it wants to, so it looks like the thighs are the last place where your body loses fat. The first step is to get down to your goal weight/body fat percentage. If you don't have a noticeable amount of body fat on your legs then your legs are muscular and there are ways to lose leg muscle (exercise the…

Anyone can feel free to add me if they're looking for new friends.

You're aiming to lose 23 pounds, so you should be losing 0.5 to 1 lb each week. If you go for a few weeks without losing anything, then you may need to change something (eat a little more, exercise more or take a week off and eat at maintenance), but otherwise you're fine. MFP tells you how much you're losing each week in…

Turn that fat into muscle (weights, push-ups) and then decide if you want to bulk up. I don't know about moobs, but fat around the stomach is associated with a risk of health problems so you need to keep that under control especially as you get older when the health problems are likely to start happening. Use this as a…
