Ashley, you look SO good and I am so glad you decided to join MFP and share this with all of us. You have seriously been a huge inspiration to me because we relate so well. I am SO happy for you!!!!!!

Thank you guys SO much! I took some even MORE recent pics this weekend, can't wait to post some!

Thank you all so much for the amazing and encouraging comments. It's really making me want to strive for that goal weight faster than ever before!

To be honest, I cave pretty often. (probably once a week or so.) I'm not a huge binge eater, but I have certainly done so in the past. Not too long ago, I wanted to binge eat really bad - and I went into my kitchen, and couldn't find anything BAD to eat, but I certainly ate a LOT of good stuff, in mass amounts LOL It's…

. I definitely stayed within my 1200 as often as possible, and at first it was really gard but now it's more hard for me to actually MEET the 1200, but I try. I did a lot of cardio like the elliptical and walking, and strength training with light weights. I also do zumba classes a few times a week!

LMAO! Someone took the pic of me in the first one, I took the pic in the mirror on the second.

I've used MFP the whole time. I don't know what I would do without it. I've been doing it since January of this year.
-
THIS WAS AWESOME! Thank you!!
-
I know it seems daunting, but it's definitely possible! I've been going at it since January and I've lost 77lbs! You can definitely do it!
-
hahaha thank you! Yeah - that before picture was the exact reason I decided to lose the weight, I was so horrified by it!! I'm glad I'm able to share it now, because before I would never show anyone! I am so proud of myself, thats the best part of all of this.

Honestly? Just the calorie counting, and I also have a really dedicated gym partner. We go 6 days a week together, rain or shine.
-
The first 30 days I worked out, I dropped 20lbs QUICK. But I was dieting and exercising everyday :)
-
I have been a little overweight my whole life, and I would never blame me getting as big as I did on my parents, but when I was 16 I was 200lbs, and being that young it was because my parents taught me NOTHING about nutrition/exercising or anything of the sort. The most I ever got was, "get your veggies, they're good for…

I work in the medical field and I asked one of our physicians about this recently. He said to me that everyone is built different, and our bone structures are different. Also, he says it has a lot to do with genetics. For example, the smallest I ever was at my height was 160lbs, and that was me struggling day in and day…

I also confess that it pisses me off when I see before and after pictures of people who have lost as much weight as I have and they look like totally different people, whereas I have only lost 2.5 pant sizes...

I confess that I have purposely been avoiding my husbands side of the family since May because I want to lose as much weight as I can before I see them again because they always make comments about it to me. So, last time I saw them was in May and I won't see them again until October 13th, and I'm already 45lbs lighter…

I stopped having periods all together a few years ago and was told it was because I was so overweight. Now that I have lost weight they've started coming but in no particular pattern, which is frusterating. I have heard that women who are really athletic have the same issue.

I use flavored broth as well, but I love spicy food so I *kitten* lots of hot sauce and pepper sauce which helps me a TON.

YAYY YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! You look SO good girl! I am so proud of you! I am proud of US! We need a team name...
-
Thanks Rach, this helps :)
-
I hope this wasn't directed at ME, considering I eat 1200 cals a day and work my *kitten* off for every pound that I have lost. I'm not looking into some kind of fad diet like that DrB diet thing.. I just wanted some information on the Lipo B12 shot that my physicians office is currently doing.

Thank you!!!!!

I'm definitely NOT fertile at all! My husband and I have been completely unprotected for 5 years now, granted the first three I was on birth control. All my tests came back totally normal too, so after ruling out PCOS, the doc just looked at me and said, "Well, looks like you and the gym are going to have to become BFFL if…

They allow one B12 shot per week, but I have only been doing monthly. I am interested in the new LIPO B12 shot for sure. I'll check out the site, thanks!
-
I thought so also, which is why I wanted to see if anyone had done these before. I already do the B12 shots, and I love them.

switching up my calories works for me. Like for two days I will eat 1600 calories, and then the third day I will only eat 1000. Then resume my regular 1200 after that. That usually helps. Also, change up what you're doing when you work out. I started taking classes at the local gym when I hit my last plateau (which was at…

Welcome darling!!! I am so glad you joined :)

Give yourself at least one day a week to do NO physcial activity. Your muscles need time to rest, and when they do it really boosts your metabolism!

Mine was when my period stopping coming and I wasn't pregnant! I went 8 months with my period, as it turns out after running a bunch of tests, my fat cells and SO stretched that they're producing too much estrogen. Moral of the story: I can't have children, and I'm 24 and have been married for 3.5 years.. and we wanted to…
