  • Look at the weight you've already lost and remember how you felt when you lost that weight. Go for a run and when you feel like quitting push yourself to sprint or keep going for one more minute and one more minute etc. you wil feel amazing after knowing you pushed your limits.
  • Next time just have some egg whites and some vegetarian bacon. I know it sounds crazy but vegetarian bacon actually tastes like bacon and is very low in calories and fat and high in protein! If you like baco-bits you would like veggie bacon, baco bits are completely vegetarian until they add bacon fat lol anyways its just…

  • I don't know exact numbers but the yolk of an egg is where the majority of the calories, fat, and cholesterol are! Try just having egg whites, I separate the eggs myself. To add a little substance to your scrambled eggs you can beat a tablespoon or so of low fat milk per egg into the scramble. Hope that helps!

  • I just graduated from college and I'm a vegetarian too! Its definitely tough to balance especially when so few people understand why I don't eat anything with a face (I live in texas lol) but you can do it! Stay strong! We need a post about great vegetarian/vegan recipes etc.
  • Tie an exercise band around both your ankles and do side steps while squating. its a good lower body exercise that will help build muscle. I would also maybe try some "fire hydrants," get on your hands and knees and lift your leg up like you are going to Pee on a fire hydrants. Sounds silly but there's definitely a burn!…
  • I'm the same way with my family. I can't help it!. I'm a vegetarian and also mainly eat organic so when my mom or brother stuffs their face with fast food or coke zero I can't help but to tell them that its unhealthy. It's not because I want to force my lifestyle on them but because I want them to be around for as long as…
  • I won't allow myself to sit down and eat unless I've had a glass of water or have one with me, that way I'm getting at least 3 glasses in a day. Plus I always make sure to have water with me when I exercise, if its there, you'll drink it!
  • Make flavored ice cubes just for this occasion. It'll be your life saver.
  • I agree with everyone else! I really count on the forum, its the first thing I do in the morning because its my daily inspiration and motivation. Reminds me that I'm not doing this alone! Sometimes I go for a drive when I'm bored though, as long as you won't be tempted to stop at a fast food place!
  • You could always get some of your calories from juice, or make simple changes to what you eat. For example, if you make shakes you could throw in a couple tablespoons of Greek yogurt or even eat some as a snack. Greek yogurt is about 110 calories a cup and has a lot of protein and low in sugar. Nuts are also calorie packed…
  • I had ACL repair in May, I had a complete ear. Are you in physical therapy? I just finished about a month ago but my physical therapist was amazing and I have lots of great dos and donts for your knee if you need any help in that arena!
  • I suggest eating vegetarian meats, I know it doesn't sound appetizing but they are actually really good and can be found in most grocery stores. Look into morningstar farms, they have a wide variety of food and everything is low in fat and VERY high in protein.
