Feel free to add me, Sam.

So much supportive, caring advice. There is truly nothing I can add to what has been said, other than this: I wish you well.

Very happily married since 1980. There will always be peaks and valleys, of course. That's just normal, isn't it?

But you will eat more reasonably today, right?

Welcome to a very supportive community.

It's been low 80's three days in a row, so I am happy to know it's probably a good number.

I am 57. Just started trying to lose weight a couple of weeks ago, though. Sort of a beginner, I guess.

Thank you for responding, RaineyLaney. I appreciate your doing that. And congratulations on losing almost 50 pounds so far!

Thank you so much, BigG59. (I see you have lost over 60 pounds. Wow, that is impressive.)

I am impressed. You are staying strong for yourself and for your family. That's a very good thing.

Well, at bloodsugar101.com, I found this: "Independent of what they eat, the blood sugar of a truly normal person is: Under 120 mg/dl (6.6 mmol/L) one or two hours after a meal. Most normal people are under 100 mg/dl (5.5 mmol/L) two hours after eating. If that is true, 83 should be okay, right? Art
