Omg! Those my exact measurements. Bra size and everything. I've been considering trying 30DS, but if it hasn't helped you then it probably won't help me. Interested to see any advice.

I'm a small woman, and I know for myself that eating more than 1200 calories has benefited me. My calorie goal was 1200 when I was trying to lose, and each pound came off slowly. Now that I'm set to maintenance and my goal is 1700, I'm eating all the healthy food I could desire, and I've lost an extra 2 pounds since upping…

Baggy, clean, comfy clothes. I'm going to get sweaty, so I don't care. If I had more confidence, I wouldn't mind looking cute, but then those girls who wear make-up to the gym come to mind, and I go back to not caring. I work out at home or else go walking where no one knows me. Going to a gym would be a different…

Junk food still tastes great to me, but at least I'm getting to where I prefer healthier foods over the junk. Example: My new favorite snack is celery and peanut butter. I come home from work craving it, and it seems more appealing than some Reese's out a vending machine. I made some tea the other night and didn't have to…

I measure my natural waist because around my bellybutton is where bloating becomes evident, meaning it fluctuates too much to be a good indicator. My natural waist is -really- high compared to others (maybe a petite thing?), but I think measuring the same place consistently is the most important factor.

Yes, I get like that sometimes. My symptoms change every month though... sometimes cramps, backaches, headaches, fatigue, etc. Sometimes I even get hot flashes, my visions blacks out, or I throw up. :frown: Sounds terrible, but I haven't talked to a gyno about it yet. All the women in my family are intolerant to birth…

Oh, okay. I think it's a psychological thing. Your finances are really combined, just with the perception that they're separate. I have to go explain to my hubby now that we're combining our finances from now on. ;) In separate accounts still.
-
Why does keeping finances separate imply a 50/50 split? I think proportionality makes more sense. Just my example, but my husband referred to any extra income as "play money." So he gets lots of "play money" while I beg for gas money. Maybe we should have combined finances, but I'd rather not know how much he spends on…
-
^^THIS is how I want my husband to see things. Alas, he seriously underappreciates my work around the house, at least when it is supposed to equal monetary value.
-
My husband also makes almost 3xs what I do, and we decided to keep our finances separate for independence sake. (We both don't want to know what each other wastes our money on.) Now that we're married, we still split the bills 50/50 like we did when we lived together, but I am trying to convince him that this isn't fair,…

Your core and your arms are looking fantastic. I have to try 30DS now. =D Thanks for posting that!

You look amazing!

I'm 5'2.5". My top weight was 132. I started MFP at 129, and my current weight is 119 and maintaining. I wouldn't mind gaining weight again if it's from muscle mass. Still trying to go from skinny fat to skinny fit.

I've fallen in love with pb in the last few weeks. It -is- high in fat, and I have to be careful not too much of it. My main reason to eat it is for the protein. I'm not a vegetarian, but I rarely get to eat meat. Peanut butter helps me meet my protein goals most days.

I hope to some day eat clean enough to not have to count calories, but it's been working for me so far. I know as soon as I stop counting I gain weight. I think it has more to do with the accountability of having an open diary than actually counting.
