Coffee, especially when paired with a banana. To be extra sure, you can eat flax cereal too. If that breakfast doesn't get you going, I don't know what will.

I think I have the strangest one yet, since my husband is the only person who wasn't too scared to try it: 1 can of tuna 2 tablespoons of sweet relish 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar It's more of a sweet tuna, but I love it on whole wheat crackers. I can't stand mayo, eggs, mustard, etc. I have no idea how I came across…

^^This. I just bake mine at 375 for 15 minutes or so. Simple and delicious. It's my husband's favorite. We think it's excellent paired with asparagus.

Oh, yes. This. <3 Makes me mouth water every time. I can eat a few pieces and be satisfied (unlike other chocolates).

I may regret this, but... I'm in! The most I've walked in a month was about 40 miles, so this is will be a real challenge. I'll give it my all.
-
Sounds like everyone is doing awesome. =) Just another day or two, right? (Not sure on the official start date.)

My husband used to be the same way until he tried it and cut out soda. It's almost all he drinks now, and he says it's worth it. His body feels so much better because he was so dehydrated, but he never noticed it til he drank enough water. I hope you can find a way to drink enough water.

Exactly. That's why most doctors don't think it's a problem: low blood pressure is seen in the medical world as an indication of a healthy heart. Nonetheless, use your own judgment about your body.

That reading is almost exactly what my BP usually is: 90-85/50-45. My pulse is usually around 60 as well (70 tops). However, whenever I exercise, it tends to get it at a higher, more normal rate. (105/60) Low blood pressure is only good to a point, and when I exercise regularly, it's to keep it higher, not lower. Some…

My husband's parents are wonderful. I come from a broken family with less than caring parents. His mother is like the mother I always wanted. I love them very much and feel like they love me more than my own family. I count myself very blessed.

So it's two whole days into the challenge. How is everyone doing with their alternatives? Cutting out sugar has been difficult so far because there is a little in everything it seems. I have yet to meet my 50g goal, even today when I cut out my morning coffee and tried tea instead. I'm not sure if it's the lack of caffeine…

Thanks for the link! According to this, I'm 27.3%. Not too bad, since the Navy says I'm over 30% still. =/ missencore, you must be pretty svelte imo. What's your exercise routine?
-
Exactly. I'm 5'3.5" and 129 when I started. It said my bf% was 32. :noway: My wrist is also a tiny 5.5". So I know for the same tool to say I'm down to 25%, it has come down, even if other places may say it's higher or lower. It's all pretty relative. I've heard a water displacement test is the most accurate way to…

I have the Tanita BF-680W. It measures body fat -and- body water %. It's really fancy, and I don't use hardly any of the features, like programming a user, but it seems accurate. It was $30 but I got it on sale like 5 years ago for $20-25. I will say to keep your user guide. My cat managed to switch the settings from…

I hadn't measured in awhile, especially since I quit exercising. It is currently 25.7%. Still happy with that though. What did you get, iwannagetfitrightnow?

I don't think you can actually get rid of cellulite, but you can shrink the size of those fat cells by proper diet. Keep exercising and drinking plenty of water. That should help. The number of you fat cells in indeed genetic, but you determine the size (and appearance) of them. I'm 120 lbs with plenty of cellulite for…

I'm def one of those put-your-alarm-clock-on-the-other-side-of-the-room people. I used to work during the day and I would exercise at night, but now I don't exercise at all. (Mostly because it's winter, and I like to exercise outside. If anyone else a "seasonal exerciser"? If it's not warm out, I don't want to.)…

I'm about 25% as well currently. I use the calculator here: http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html. It seems to be the most accurate and extensive. I'm all in for leaning up! =D

^This! I don't have anything in the bust to lose, but I lose it anyway anytime I start to lose weight because I'm a petite pear shape. I guess my butt would be the last to go, right after my belly, which seems to be going no where.
-
Ditto for the last two posts: I consider someone skinny fat if they don't try to stay healthy (eat whatever/don't exercise) and if their body fat or another health indicator is that of a unhealthy person. My body fat % when I started MFP a year ago was almost 32%, and now it is down to 25ish%. I want to get it to 20-22%…

It's hard to do challenges on here sometimes and keep it fair. Since we're all looking to get in shape, why not try a body fat challenge? If we all use the same formula/calculator/whatever to standardize the measurements, we can measure our progress over a month or season. I know this is my number one concern, more than…

Oooh... I had to go back through my diary entries to find a vice for this one, since I already cut out fast food. (I used to be able to count on one hand how many meals I ate at home each week.) So, I see I consistently go over in sugar. By triple my preset goal. 1. What's the cheat you are cutting out? Excess sugar,…

I can't say if you're eating incorrectly because I can't see your diary, but I would definitely eat how many calories this site suggests. It takes your exercise and goal weight loss into account. If you eat how much it says to, you'll lose weight safely. My only other advice is to eat calorie healthy foods, like whole…

WOW. I can't believe someone would sink so low. I'm sure there was plenty of unused equipment around he could have used while he was waiting for you to finish your set. If he was simply ignorant, it's one thing, but since he said sorry, he clearly understood what he was doing. I wouldn't have been able to say anything…

It looks like the founder had some more interactive plans in mind. I'm wondering if we should do a group challenge for February, or some other type of team bonding?

First of all, hello everyone! =D What's your name? Che (pronounced "Shay", if your internal voice was wondering) Where do you live? Tennessee What are your food vices/ cheats? I eat whatever I want as long as I don't go over in calories. >< Trying to eat cleaner though. What do you think is holding you back from being in…

For people that like tea, you could also try oolong. It's sold on tv as a diet drink, but you can buy it at a local international market. It's more like a black tea, rather bitter, but I like it more than green tea. I don't drink it enough to know if it really burns belly fat or not, but the media sure says it does. I just…

Ditto on the dark chocolate for sweet cravings. I usually take the first day off from exercise because I'm too exhausted and crampy. If you recognize you're eating more because of your hormones, it'll help keep your binges in check. I wouldn't say eat what you feel like you need because at the TOM I could eat and eat and…

I really need some "last minute" motivation before my wedding on the 21st. I'm in! =)

My only suggestion is to try pilates. Every exercise in pilates focuses on your core, with several exercises targeting your lower abs. You could probably find a video to use at home for less than $10.
