Aaaaand... this is why my husband and I don't have tv. Oh wait, he turns his video games up... :grumble:

If you have the confidence to wear it, wear it! I don't think I would wear something like this without tights underneath or a jacket on top, but I always admire women who do wear stuff like that. More power to ya. A club is the perfect/only place you could probably wear it though.

Stevia is the only artificial sweetener I've found that isn't completely disgusting. I only use it in my coffee, and even sometimes use real sugar instead because of the slight after taste, but it's much better than Splenda or Sweet-n-Low in my opinion.

I don't think this diet is legit, but I will say that I'm a type A and basically eat according to it anyway. ^^ I love my veggies, and a well-cut steak is the only red meat I like. I think people should just listen to their body to know what they need to eat. You had a legit question and should not have been attacked over…

Your quads look fantastic. I've had skinny legs all my life, and while I love them, I wished they looked more muscly and toned like yours. Great job!

I'm exactly this. I'm currently 116 and at maintenance. Still got my booty though. It ain't going nowhere. :blushing:

I have to wear khakis for work, and they're surprisingly hard to find, except at Goodwill (not usually cute at all) or department stores ($$$). By the time I find a new pair, I only get to wear them for a few weeks before they're too big and look funny.

Stranger at a clothing store checking you out while you strut your stuff? Awesome NSV.

My middle name is Che, as in Che Guevara. But my mom swears it's "American," and she made it up.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned racquetball. It's so much fun that it's addictive, and it burns a ton of calories. Only catch is you have to find someone to play with you. Wish I had a partner. :grumble:

At my highest weight I was a 34B, and as soon as I started getting fit, I went back down to a 32B. (I wear a 34A though. It's so much more comfortable.) I hate that I'm so small to begin with and they shrink so readily, but I'm not gaining fifteen pounds to maybe go up a smidgen. I must have no breast tissue at all.

My husband only weighed ten pounds more than me when we met. At 135 pounds, his BMI says he's healthy. (I beg to differ. He has minimal body fat w/no muscle and looks skeletal.) He's 5'9" though, and I'm barely 5'3". Nowadays, it's more like a twenty pound difference and growing. I'm trying to get him to gain weight while…

I feel like I'll never get there. Good for you! I can't imagine how much work that took you to get there.

A few years ago, I went nine months without.

Wow. That's a really big difference, and since I eat peanut butter every day, it adds up. I think I'll leave some wiggle room in either my diet or measuring cups from now on. A scale would be nice, but not in the budget atm. Thank you for the useful info.

My husband does, mostly because I can't afford to waste gas, and he is terrible with directions. The only time I drove somewhere a good distance away, we got lost because he failed to give me any directions at all. Definitely not happening again.

Great job meeting your goal, Bevi! I finally got outside today, since the weather is so lovely here in TN for a change. 2/23: 0.8 miles Total: 14.4 Remaining: 70.6

I'm a native Lakelander! Alas, I live in TN now. :grumble:

I just turned 23 and am not worried at all. I have been through more than my share of hardships and lived with my grandparents off-and-on growing up. I'm actually looking forward to getting older because I could wear oversized hats and crazy sweaters without being judged. I love playing Scrabble and card games, and I find…

I take children's chewable multivitamins. The gummy bear kind. Because they're cute and taste like candy.

Wow! You look fantastic, and those numbers are amazing. Congrats on being so healthy and fit. 22% body fat is a wonderful achievement.

Thanks girl! No luck yet. Life is really hitting me hard lately. Great job on being 2/3 done at the halfway point of the month.

2/7: Nothing 2/8: Nothing 2/9: 1.6 miles Total: 13.6 miles Remaining: 71.4 miles It's gotten cold, meaning I've gotten lazy. =( Not giving up though. My personal best in a month was 40 miles, and I'm on track to beat that still.

2/7: ZERO 2/8: ZERO 2/9: 1.6 miles Total: (12 + 1.6 =) 13.6 miles Miles Remaining: 71.4 It finally got cold here a few days ago, and needless to say, I don't feel like doing anything remotely active. Days like this I wish I had a treadmill/elliptical/something so I don't have to jog in place.

I'm originally from FL but been in TN 16 yrs now. Gotta say I have -loved- this "winter". This thread rocks! I found 5 people from Nashville.

Me too! Well, pretty close. Let's be friends.

I was in maintenance for a month til I decided to lose 5 more pounds. I've logged everything bc I knew if I didn't, I'd let myself eat whatever. I keep giving myself exercise goals since I've never focused on it before. My decision to lose 5 more lbs was based on my still too high body fat %. My point is to keep giving…

^^THIS! We're here to be healthy, but some people don't get it. Another peeve of mine since I hit maintenance: People who congratulate me on losing weight when I'm wanting to stay the same. It's like they want me to keep going til I'm a skeleton. Also, people who say I'm on a "diet" and lecture me about it. I'm not on a…
