I agree that counseling or at least communication could help you two decide one way or another. He definitely seems too withdrawn and stubborn to go to counseling, so just try to talk to him. Let him know you are serious and have an important thing to discuss. Make sure he is listening. Talk to him about how you feel,…

@TheJayRay01--While BMI should not be the only health factor to base your goal weight on, at 5'5" and 110 lbs, you would be considered underweight. I personally don't think it is reasonable. 120ish probably is. It also depends on your bone frame size and how much lean body mass you have. @OP--I think it depends on your…

BMI and body fat percentage are different things but you have used them interchangeably so I don't know where to begin.

I'm surprised by how many people are intimidated by the more fit guys. I'm not very athletic or full of confidence, but I wouldn't let low self-esteem limit the type of men I would be interested in.
-
My cup size because I love being a petite 5'2.5". A small C would be wonderful, or heck, even a full B.

10 to 14% with muscle. My husband is 10% with no muscle. :embarassed:

So sorry for your mother. :frown: Stress can do some terrible things to our bodies. I almost think my problem is psychological as well. But cheers to keeping our hubbies happy while we sort ourselves out. :drinker:

I'm a newlywed, and I very rarely initiate. Once we get health insurance, I will discuss my low libido with a doctor, but until then, he initiates almost 100% of the time. Since sex isn't important to me, he just lets me know when he wants it, and I take care of him. It's an odd situation, but we're both satisfied,…

Woah! You look amazing! He'll be all over you like white on rice! It's obvious you've put in a lot of hard work in a short period of time.
-
I guess loshode's goal weight too. Maybe that should be a game too. You're lucky you're taller. I can't imagine you weigh more than 160.
-
Yes! Finally! I'm about 115. I'll wager you're 145ish.
-
I doubt it. You have a good muscle mass. You'll just get stronger. Keep doing whatever you're doing!
-
You're really looking toned! I'll say 155?
-
Nope, not tall. 5'2.5" And y'all aren't really close... Oh well... @Laura: You have a very defined jawline with at least a medium frame. I'll venture 145-150? @bonbon: I'm so thrown off. You look pretty small but your goal ticker says otherwise. I have no clue!
-
Will someone guess mine? I'll guess yours.

I'm 5'2.5" and started with a 29" waist. I'm down to 26-25" depending on how bloated I am. :blushing: What makes a big difference is what kind of shape you're in. I don't think I'd mind a larger waist if it were tight, toned, or both. Even at 25", my waist is still squishy. Just something to take into consideration...

First: Chest (which was nearly nonexistent anyway) Middle: Thighs & Arms Last: Stomach My stomach is small now, so there's nothing to lose, but it won't tighten up for anything. *sigh* Technically my butt would be the last to go, but I don't think it could go anywhere if I tried, and I like it that way. ^_^
-
Yaaaaay! I'm awesome! Haha.
-
Maybe it's because I'm still newly married, but I am a very happy wife.

Peruvian or Ecuadorian? I love guessing even when I'm way off. :D
-
@porcelain-- You look Irish, but maybe midwestern US?
-
LaMujer-- your s/n is a good hint, but I would guess Brazil or Argentina? Your skin tone is beautiful. :flowerforyou:

OP, I'm 23 and I'm the OLDEST woman on both sides of my family to have kids, and I don't have any yet. It's not too young at all. (In fact, I've been told I am rapidly getting old and should already have kids by now.) It's just a matter of perspective. You're too young; I'm too old; It's no one's business but ours. As for…

Mmmm. Yes. Dried edamame has lots of protein and is low sodium. A small handful fills me up.

Pay off my car and my husband's car, save up for a downpayment on a house or else build our dream home. (It's one of those tiny homes: only 450 sq ft and no mortgage.) Other than that? Probably save it for retirement. A small portion would go to things like new clothes, more Christmas presents, and semi-annual vacations,…

Wow. I feel so much slower. I just ran my first unofficial 5k a week ago. Finished in 44:39 and was happy til I read this thread. I'm going to take everyone's advice and quit comparing my speed to everyone else.

I'm fairly certain it has to do with body fat and how it distributes itself on your body. When I was at my top weight and 32% body fat, the lines disappeared because my stomach was too round. Now that I'm down to 23% bf, the fat on my upper abs has started folding over again, and the crease is coming back. I think if I…

I agree with both of you. I was 128 when I started MFP. At just under 5'3", I wasn't even overweight. My body fat, on the other hand, was 32%, and you would never know it. I have the tiniest lean body mass ever. Even now at 115ish, I still have 23% body fat. No one would know that just from asking about my weight.

As I'm eating [insert delicious, "normal" food here}... "Doesn't that break your diet?" No, I'm not on a diet. I'm living a healthier lifestyle, which leaves plenty of room for eating whatever I want. Just less frequently, in smaller portions, etc.

To date, these are the best tennis shoes I have ever had at only $30 or so. They got too worn and I replaced them with Champions (which are nicely lightweight but have no shock absorption). I want to go back to New Balance when I wear this pair out.
