Well done to you, and thank you for sharing your story. I too have two children and am on the journey to losing the baby weight - I love seeing that it can be done. It is amazing that you manage to fit in two children, working full time and exercising - you are marvellous!

Fantastic achievement, what an inspiration. I bet you are feeling great about yourself. Well done!

I totally agree with this post - your journey is very reassuring to someone like me who takes ages to lose weight.

Wow, you have done an amazing job! It is so inspiring to read about you doing this slowly, as there is a lot of stuff out there about quick fix weight loss. Slow and steady really does win in this case. Thank you for posting this, and glad I have you as a MFP friend :0)

Our cats are Frimily and Jiggers. Frimily is a scaredy cat and I think Jiggers may be half cat, half monkey as he is incredibly playful and mischievious. They tolerate each other.

The sleep thing is probably quite a major - my 14 month old is going through a teething phase and has been waking a few times a night. I find it really hard to go back to sleep. The diary thing - I feel a bit weird about opening my diary. Not sure if this is feeling bad about some of the choices I make, even though I am…

Hello everyone, I am a work at home mum to a nearly 4 year old son and a 14 month old daughter. I gained 20kg with each pregnancy and only lost 10kg of it afterwards, so I am 20kg up on my pre children days. I would love other mum friends as support, as we all know what a juggle life is now! Expecting great success for us…

Oops - just googled St Vitus Dance and obviously he doesn't have that, it must just have been something someone said to him once (probably his mum). Sorry if i offended anyone with an offhand comment.

Ha ha ha - my husband does that foot shaking thing too. He said it is 'St Vitus dance', whatever that may be. But then I have terrible restless leg syndrome in bed, so that probably drives him mad too.

Really interesting posts here. I think this subject is the fundamental question about weight loss - can I overcome whatever it was that made me gain weight in the first place? Have I changed my habits completely? I think the answer for lots of people is 'no, it could still come back to bite me on the butt'. I liked the PP…

New Dr Who showing in NZ next week - in my head I am counting down the days! I know I could probably watch it online, but somehow it feels like I would be cheating. Also can't get enough Terry Pratchett, we have nearly all his books, and some are signed (not sure why that makes me so happy? I guess other nerds understand…
