I just take pain killers if pain is bad, and drink extra water. I did an hour Body Combat tonight with Flo (day one) and kicked *kitten* big time. Take evening primrose oil, it is great for moods and keeping you perked up enough to stay away from the take away. Exercise makes you feel better. If you want to pig out,…

I regularly do Spin classes approx 3 times a week and I also drive a lot as I am an area sales rep. I recently began to get tingly feelings in my fingers which then lead them to being numb, which my doctor advised is a problem with a tightening of the wrist due to constant positioning of them which put pressure on the…

Luckily I am a tomato based sauce rather than cream based sauce fan anyway. But I need to stay away from Pizza and breads.... my downfall everytime. I suppose I am due a cheat day...but I will not go silly. Spinning in the morning will kick my garlicy butt!

Thanks everyone, I do not have time for the gym tonight but tomorow I am going to spin class to earn myself a nice fat chunk of extra cals. I will closely scrutinise the menu. The restaurants are local and do not have nutrition charts online like Prezzo but I will use this as a guide. At least I can rest assured it is all…

Try a different class which does not use your shoulder as much, or ask the instructor for advice. the instructors in my gym always ask at the beginning of any class "any injuries, or back problems?" you need to take care not to do any further damage if you have torn a muscle.

Good Luck you will do great with that motivation, and if you ever slip up with the sweet tooth, don't beat yourself up, just do an extra gym session or a longer one. I am sure you will be suprised with what you will lose sticking to your plan.

I have broad shoulders and a large ribcage which will prevent my top half from ever getting into a size 10 even when my bottom half does as I have narrow hips. I have freinds who are narrow shouldered with wide hips and they can fit into smaller dresses than me even if they weigh 14lb more due to the shape of the clothing…

boost your metabolism, your body is retreating to storing any fat you consume as you are below a natural intake with your net cals. Increase so you balance out your cardio work more with more protein which kicks the metabolisms butt, keep sugars low, drink a huge amount of water. Change your meal plan if you are stuck in a…

make sure your iron intake is always at your reccomended allowance and you are drinking enough water. It may just mean you are dehydrated, as your body temperature naturally increases at this TOM.

Count me in! I am a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding in September and want to look my best so far in this weight loss journey

Metabolism slows as you get older, and you have to adjust eating and excercise habits accordingly. Cardio will help you shift pounds, and make you healthier as your heart works harder, but you must also try somekind of weights class, women need to start using light weights to increase bone density to alleviate possible…

I cooked this last night for my boyfriend and two hungry friends who like their food and Carb loading and they all loved it! Constance asked for the recipe and it is going at the front of my folder for regular use. It was yummy yummy! thanks again for sharing!

my top tip stolen from my friend Lauren who does the same with chicken skin....imediately pour washing up liquid over the chopped off unused buts of cake/butter cream so you cannot eat them. The smell will also disintegrate so your tummy isn't teased! good luck

I aim for a healthy 10/12, I naturally have broad shoulders so I would look rediculous if I shrank any smaller. I do not want to look like a child, I just want to look healthy.

I have problems with my cartlilage in both knees which can give me immense pain, which prevents me doing heavy impact workouts like running, step aerobics etc, as directed by the doctor in the fracture clinic. I spoke to my gym instructors and got multi advice from them and my physio that I should keep my thigh muscles and…

listen to your doctor, but make sure within that 1000-1100 is a healthy balanced diet by logging all you eat, and check the nutrients. Eat foods with low saturated fat content. Eat more protein, eggs, lean meats like chicken turkey wafer thin ham and rabbit. If you start to exercise too, that may increase your metabolic…

it took me about two to three weeks, but I still get them every now and again. The key is eat high protein for breakfast, eat plenty of fibre, wholemeal produsts are more filling too, ie rice and pasta than their white counterparts, and the main thing.....drink lots more water. I used to go all day sometimes without having…

I have only started my weight loss recently and have already dropped from a D to a C cup, and they look like they are shirnking every day. I was a late developer, so if I lose the weight I have gained since University I guess I will be back with bee stings at the end of it, it must be my natural shape. Good luck and don't…
