Cute! Thanks!

What are your thoughts on the Aria? Worth it?

Yes, thanks to both of you. It sounds like I should just do the workout wearing my Fitbit then log it right away (as well as the time I started) and it will all sort of even out...who knew it would be so hard? :) Thanks again!

A TBS of unsweetened cocoa powder, a shake of cinnamon, 1/2 of splenda packet, and a 1/4 cup of any fruit you like. You can also add 1/8 cup of old fashioned oats. YUM and full of fiber, protein and a little fat.

I like Jillian's Ripped in 30, as well as No More Trouble Zones. Banish doesn't use any weights (though you could use them on many moves if you wanted). After 30DS, Ripped in 30 would be a good next step, I think.

Love it! I am not a peanut butter lover (nutella, yes) but I am a vodka (and rose wine, whiskey, porter) lover! I

I love Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30. These combine cardio and strength training; the key will be to use weights that are heavy enough and to set goals and push yourself. I began as a total weakling, using 3lb weights and modifying every move. Over time, I have pushed and pushed and now use between 10-25…

When I am feeling like I need to "clear out" I will stick to a veggie heavy diet (still 3 meals a day, plus snacks) and try to not eat *too* many processed foods. I also don't drink alcohol for the duration, which of course helps. :) I would imagine that any benefits you are seeking you can get from a few days of this type…

30DS isn't 30 minutes; I only ever log it as 20 minutes Walking at 5MPH can be really challenging; that's very fast, practically jogging. Are you sure you are walking that quickly? The calorie totals on MFP are inflated.

Sounds like you need a food scale and to be sure you are tracking EVERYTHING you eat (condiments, any bites or nibbles) accurately.

You should try Jillian 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30--they incorporate both cardio, light weight training and body resistance work. I bet you would see a lot of good results with dedication to it.

Agreed; there's no need to hurt anyone's feelings.

Great story and a wonderful reminder to BE KIND AND COMPLIMENTARY...it can be easy to forget how powerful our words are!

I would suggest two things: First, don't plan to eat back your calories; you are trying to change your eating behaviors. Allowing yourself to eat more because you worked out doesn't move you forward with your health goals; and, I bet you are eating more than you realize and, I am sorry, but there is no way you are burning…

It sounds like you are just starting out on your journey! You said, 6 weeks, right? I think it's really natural to slip into old routines from time to time. The important thing, which you are already doing, is to be cognizant of the slips, then reflect on why and adjust. Keep up the great work, one choice at a time.
