Absolutely. I've also been getting sharp pains in my pelvis if I get up too fast from sitting. My contractions are painful but inconsistent so I know it's not true labor, just BH making life miserable. On another note, TMI, but I wiped today and part of my mucus plug was on the toilet paper! I can't wait for the doctor to…

Well...I was all about having an epidural with my first. No questions asked, I wanted it. Turns out labor really isn't predictable and I ended up getting my beloved epidural about 15 minutes before I pushed him out so in reality I might as well have gone without it. The nurse refused to give it to me when I asked because…

Yep, yep and yep. You are not alone! I have a honey do list made up to get ready for the baby and it has yet to be done. This is our second child so I know what to expect from him. It's not much:/ I hate to be the negative Nancy but it may not get any better for awhile. With our first he got up in the middle of the night…

Me too! However, as a fair warning, I am currently 34 weeks pregnant so I won't be contributing too much right away. Once I have the bugger I should drop about 20 right away though!

I had an appointment with the OB nurse today and mentioned that I was going to start drinking this in a couple of weeks. She got this horrified look on her face and told me not to do it because it causes pre term labor. By that time I will be almost 37 weeks, which I thought was considered full term. She said that it can…

I gained the majority of my weight (40 pounds-gulp) during the second trimester. Now that I'm well into my 3rd trimester I think I've gained less than 5 pounds. It definitely slowed way down for me, thank goodness!

I never attended one, even with my first. I didn't watch any videos on child birth, I didn't take Lamaze...I wanted to go in blind. It scared me less. Now that I know the process I'm more afraid than the first time. In my case, ignorance truly is bliss! lol

It was pretty apparent for me. I have odd shaped ribs, one sticks out further than the other. Before the baby dropped my tummy was just a big ball that started underneath my boobs. Now there is enough space that I can see my weird rib poking out again, lol. Also, my breathing is waaaay easier, I don't have to stop to catch…

Olive oil. I know it sounds counterproductive to put oil on a face that is breaking out but it works. Just rub it into your skin after you wash your face, only use enough so that it soaks into your skin and doesn't leave a coating of oil on your face. It really does work and your skin will be so soft.

Tomorrow marks week 32 and today I noticed that baby dropped! I'm getting excited/nervous. At least I can finally breath normally:)

You are not alone sista! I've gained way more than most posters on this thread. It sounds like you're staying in shape and judging by your profile pic you still look pretty fantastic so don't worry too much!

I would seek out a second opinion. Some of what he is telling you doesn't sound right. I read an article a little while ago that said more doctors are pushing women to get C sections so it doesn't disrupt their lives (plans, vacations, having to deliver in the middle of the night). The only thing I can say is that when I…

My weight gain has tapered off too. Hopefully can keep it to 1 lb. a week for the next 10 weeks:)

If we had a girl we were going to name her Ophelia and call her Opie for short (big SOA fans, lol) We are having another boy though so that name is out.

I do Denise Austin's Fit and Firm Pregnancy, you can find it on youtube. It's only 20 minutes of low impact aerobics so by the time you might get fatigued it's over, lol. My only other suggestion is to maybe do stretches and kegels as your routine until you give birth.

I'm like a rotisserie chicken all night long, every couple of hours I have to turn over. I too can't wait to fall asleep on my back.

I gained 52 pounds with my first and I'm resigning myself to the fact that I will likely gain that amount again. This time I have been watching what I eat and I'm actually exercising, which didn't happen the first time around. I just gain a lot of weight while pregnant I guess. I'll have to worry about losing the weight…

I've got a new symptom. I'm constantly misjudging my girth. I will try to slide by my husband or through a door and boom, my belly hits. No fun.

First off, awesome job on the lifestyle change. Be proud of that. I think all of us are terrified to see the weight pack on during pregnancy, especially when we've work hard to lose the weight in the first place. I live by the fact that I'm strong enough to lose the weight once and I will be strong enough to lose whatever…

Justanother...I am on par with your weight gain! I'm just going to have to diet when the baby comes. Such is life:/

Diapers, diapers, diapers! That's honestly all I needed. I had a little giveaway (their name got put in a hat and they could win a $25 gift card) for those who brought a packages of size 1 or 2 diapers because I didn't want to be overloaded with nb diapers. I did end up getting a lot of onsies and gift baskets with bath…

Congrat meghan! On staying under 30 and you new little bundle!:)

Arrrghhh, my eyes!

Thankfully I'm not in the "gaining too little" category, lol! I can see how some people let the gain effect them to the point of borderline obsession, especially on a site like this. I weigh myself regularly, cringe at the scale and then go eat. I was strong enough to lose whatever weight I had to in the first place (why I…

Oh thank god there is someone else with this problem! I look at the "how much have you gained" thread and I'm like, how the hell are people only gaining 10-15 pounds by week 26? I'm over the 25 pound mark already and I've been, for the most part, staying on track and doing what exercising I can. I gained 52 with my first,…

Rhye- I'm planning on taking my little one to the aquarium at the Mall of America this spring. We wanted to go a few weeks ago but it was soooo cold and snowy. I went to the mall once like 15 years ago and I remember the amount of walking it took to get anywhere, but it is good exercise!
-
Right now the majority of my movement involves chasing after my 18 month old. It's getting depressing in Wisconsin, we have at least 2 feet of snow on the ground and the temperatures have been at least 20 degrees below normal so taking a walk isn't an option:( Oh, and I live in a small town so our mall is the local gas…

Oh how exciting! Keep us updated:)

My husband and I had the same problem when picking our boy name. He eventually came around and let mommy pick it. He gets the middle name though.

I ache all over too. I never had a pain with my first but this one is a totally different ballgame. Even my boobs have grown much more with this one and they hurt all the time. My hips, my back, my shoulder (from sleeping on my left side), my legs, I feel like I'm falling apart!
