  • When I seen the question aimed towards you about YOUR allowance, I automatically thought "probably nothing".
  • I'd say start with walks or the elliptical for exercise. I have a vaginal delivery and was walking at 3 days pp, elliptical at 3 weeks pp and as soon as I was cleared I started 30DS (day 5 today!) I have no advice on the bra as I am a member of the itty bitty titty comitee. When having sex for the first time pp, I chose to…
  • Holy *kitten*, that's a huge change! Good job!
  • 1998 called, it wants its diet back.
  • I'm starting level 1 today. I did it last year and had wonderful results, then I got pregnant and gained a ton of weight so here I am. I just got the clear from my dr to do more intense exercise. Add me if you'd like:)
  • Audition- Great Japanese movie Pink Flamingos- Just because it's sooo disturbing, John Waters is effed in the head.
  • SAHM with a 2 year old and a one month old:)
  • Pretty much this. I also agree with the poster that suggested going at a different time of day.
  • Usually when drunk I get flirty, unless it's tequila. Then I black out and turn into a raging ***** aparently. Which is really too bad because I love my Margaritas.
  • I loved doing 30DS, it did amazing things for my back fat. I'm going to be starting it again in a few weeks.
  • Gained 49, 3 weeks pp down 25lbs
  • I don't think it makes you a bad mom. If you're getting frustrated it's better to step away and collect yourself. Crying isn't going to hurt the baby. Generally newborns and infants cry for a reason, not to manipulate you so try not to turn it into a battle of wills. That being said there are times when nothing you do will…
  • I'm a second trimester gainer too. I gained maybe 5lbs in the first trimester and 5-7lbs in my third trimester, the rest of my 50lb weight gain was in the second trimester. At 9 weeks I don't think you're expected to gain a ton of weight.
  • I have a toddler and a 2 week old so I know where you are coming from. I try to include the babies in my workouts. Right now, 2 weeks post partum, we are taking daily walks which my 2 year old lives for and it soothes the baby as well. Once I start doing serious cardio I will have to rely on hubby more to take the wheel…
  • Yes I would have said something to the boy. Probably along the lines of "are you stupid for thinking a 2 year old is going to hold a conversation with you?" Maybe not the nicest way to address the situation but I would hope it would get the point across.
  • Someone wrote a post about how annoying it is when people incorporate being a parent into their username so I changed mine immediately to usernameMAMA.
  • My son is only 22 months so he doesn't understand a lot of what is going on. I absolutely did not have him in L&D when I had the new baby and I also got them little gifts to give to each other. The only thing I can do to really include him is to bring me little things that I might need. I have him bring me the babies…
  • You aren't alone! With my first pregnancy I never worked out and ate what I wanted and I gained 52 pounds. With this pregnancy I am eating "right" and worked out every single day after morning sickness passed and I still gained about 45 pounds. It makes no sense to me, I'm hoping since I gained a better way this time it…
  • I had the bloody show on Tuesday and Wednesday, I'm dilated to 3cm and 80% effaced, still waiting on baby. I was also told at my appointment on Tuesday that my bag of water is bulging and she thought I might go within the next few days. I've done everything to break it. Sex, walking, bumpy car ride, squats...this bag is…
  • With my first I was dilated to 1 and my OB told me I likely wouldn't go into labor in the next week. The next morning at 5 am my water broke but I still had no contractions. At 5am the next day they gave me Pitocin and I delivered at 8:41am. I had no signs ahead of time, no contractions, no mucus plug, I didn't even notice…
  • Haha, I don't know about alcohol removed wine but my hubby just picked up some margarita mix and tequila for after I have my little one.
  • Yeah...we don't care if you're irritated.
  • ^That's what I'm saying!
  • I actually lost 2 pounds since my last appointment, I'm hoping that means things are getting ready to kick into gear.
  • I have a little boy, Severus, who is going to be 2 in July. He was born when I was 32 so I wanted to have another relatively soon so they would have each other growing up and I didn't want to be placed in a "high risk" category for pregnancy. I don't plan on having anymore kids so the timing is perfect. Sev had colic for…
  • Thanks for starting this group tigger! My name is Monica, I'm officially full term today, 37 weeks, and my second son's due date is June 8th. My first was born in July of 2012, which is why I joined MFP to begin with. I'm hoping to get the baby weight off asap and could use the encouragement of my fellow mommies!
  • I'm 5'7" and small boned according to the wrist measurement test ( I personally think I'm more of a medium build) and my perfect weight was 138-140. I've got small breasts and no *kitten* so any less than that and I find I look too thin. I think it really depends on your proportions and whether or not YOU feel good at that…
  • I love my rear facing car seat mirror and my car seat bumper.
  • Tigger- my lil' one has stopped "kicking" so much and now does this stretch that feels like he's going to pop out of my belly. I love having to push his limbs back so my tummy looks normal again. I have no idea how to get a baby to slow down but when it happens that means labor is approaching! I talked to my OB today and…
  • Lightening Crotch! Seriously, google it. It's a thing. Horrible stabbing pains in my pelvis allllll day today. Usually lasts only a few seconds but is excruciating, had me doubling over. I'm also a little concerned I may have a UTI because my urine stream is weak too. I'm not sure if baby is just squishing my bladder that…
