  • Aww man, almost everyone has me beat so far. I only ate 2200 ish, but a third of that was cookies and cake, and I enjoyed every single bite:laugh:
  • 129.2! I'm more than 1.5 lbs under my goal weight! I started at 138.8 and can't believe that I've lost over 10 lbs in 3 months. Merry Christmas everyone!
  • 129.2 as of this morning, WOO!   I met my goal and this is the lowest I've ever been in my adult life:happy: Now it's time for one quick workout before the Christmas celebrations. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
  • Yep, but I won't give a damn if I go over. I want my once a year sweets.
  • I wanted to be down to 130 by Christmas. A few mornings I saw 129 on the scale but it wasn't on Mondays, my weigh-in days. Right now I'm switching between 130.4 and 131.0, depending on my water and sodium intake from the previous day. But I'm pretty much content with my weight loss, and I'm not going to lament over less…
  • I absolutely hated the way I looked. I avoided mirrors and shiny surfaces at all cost, I even avoided just going out of my apartment in general. I also wanted to lose weight so I could start dating. There are a ton of girls at a healthy weight on campus, so why would a guy ask me out when he could ask out a skinny girl?
  • How is this incorrect? My dad weighs 90 pounds more than me and he can burn a lot more calories than I can doing the same exercise at the same pace.
  • You need to eat more. I'm only 5'2 and almost 130 lighter than you and I can eat 1500 a day without exercising and lose weight. If you're eating less than 1200 calories a day (which is a big no-no, unless you're doing 5:2) then you need to eat back your exercise calories. You're also just in your first month, and things…
  • CW: 130.4 Goal weight: 130.8 Goal met and surpassed!!! Thank you so much for starting this challenge. It's really helped me stay on track and give myself a goal to work for every week. This has been incredibly helpful towards my goal and I still intend to keep losing the weight slow and steady. When I was 140 about 3…
  • She got that one a few years ago when the Kohl's opened at 4 or 5 AM for black friday, instead of on Thanksgiving night. I asked her again how much she payed and she thinks it was closer to $150 . It was a pretty awesome deal, she couldn't believe how little she got it for. That was the one thing she really wanted that…
  • Those are the best! Between Kohl's Cash and sales my mom ending up only paying about $100. You just really have to watch for the sales and use coupons.
  • Archer season 4 on bluray Winning lottery ticket, I'll settle for my state's lottery around $90,000 New headphones for my ipod A white Christmas
  • I only eat 2 or 3 meals a day. I would hate to wash dishes for 5 or 6 meals each day. I just don't have the time to plan out, eat, and clean up 6 meals a day. Here's my day: Breakfast: >250 calories, around 7 or 9, depending on when I wake up, and if I feel like it. Lunch ~450 calories, at either 11:30 or 1:30. Dinner ~500…
  • Checking in for this week at 131.2. Less than a half pound away from my goal weight for this challenge, I'm so excited! I wanna make goal weight by next week.
  • They're really important. I wish I still had my before pictures. I took them on my phone and enjoyed looking at my progress until my phone's screen decided to turn blue in June and I couldn't see anything on it. I really wish that I could see myself and how far I've come, I'm still feeling big at times, so a reminder would…
  • Opps I forgot to log last week and this week's goals. Anyway, Last week: 132.4 This week: 131.8 Not quite sure how that happened, considering I was over a bit on two days and haven't been able to exercise as much but I'll take it. And only 1 more pound to go until I hit my goal for this challenge!
  • Bump. I'm interested in this too, and want to know what others think of it. I like how it has a modifier so that I won't have an excuse not to do a routine. But I need to wait until more used copies come out, I can't afford to buy it directly from them.
  • No. You should've thought about losing those 20 pounds 4 months ago. A pound a day is an incredibly unhealthy (if not impossible, unless you're VERY overweight) pace. Cut off a limb or two and you might be able to make your goal weight. But then you'd be without a limb...
  • Protein powder isn't natural. It won't make you bulk because you're a girl, and we can't gain muscles like guys can, even then they have to really work for it. I've always used Super Advanced Whey Protein by Body Fortress from Walmart. It comes in a big container and it's only about $15. The calories vary a bit depending…
  • I just went on a date a month ago with a guy who showed up an hour late and didn't look me in the eyes the entire time. He sat perpendicular to me the whole date. He kept on texting and calling me for the next week. If I didn't respond in a timely manner he would call me and he called me "sweet pea" after one date. There…
  • It does neither. Weight loss is calories in vs. calories out. I have dairy daily because I love cheese and milk, but I'm still losing weight. Just make it work in your calorie budget. But beware, you don't have to drop down to 1200 automatically to lose weight. I'm 5'2 and netting 1400 a day and still losing weight. And if…
  • I just best guessed it. I had a very light breakfast (140 calories), two drinks, two rolls, 3 oz of turkey, and a big piece of eclair cake. It's telling me I'm only at 1100 for the day, probably underestimated some of it, but I'll have a small dinner later. I had a huge workout on Sunday where I didn't eat back my calories…
  • I have slimfast about 2-3 times a week for breakfast. I'm not that hungry when I wake up, but since I have a 9 AM class I will be really hungry when I get back home. So I drink it at 8 and I'm full until 11:30 when I have to eat lunch before work. I don't mind them at all. But for protein I actually use Super Advance Whey…
  • I weigh myself every morning after I use the bathroom. It's interesting to see the little fluctuations. I'm in a challenge to lose .5lb/week and I record my weight every Monday (if I remember). My weight goes up and down throughout the week, but my Monday I'm almost always a half pound lighter than the previous week. But…
  • Sorry for the late check-in, this week has been super busy. CW: 133.0 Just over 2 more lbs to go until I reach my goal for this challenge, I think I can do it!
  • Me! I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've never really liked Thanksgiving food, I really dislike vegetables (slowly overcoming that) and the food just seems blah to me. Christmas is another story, I love the steak and sweets that we have around the house. But on Thanksgiving I never have to worry about eating too much, I'll…
  • What's your current height? Unless you're extremely short 80kg/176 lbs isn't *that* overweight to warrant a 1kg/2lb a week weight loss. And 5 kg is a lot to lose by Christmas if you're on bed rest and not really overweight. Here's a guideline for weight loss per week It looks like you should be losing about 1 lb a week (.5…
  • I'm not keeping it a secret, but I'm not actually announcing it to everyone. My family knows, along with my close friends, but that's about it. I'm not very active on facebook, but I think next month when I have to attend a wedding I might have to post a photo, I'm hoping that they'll at least notice a nearly 30 lb loss…
  • It doesn't matter when you eat, just how much you eat. I went to the gym from 5:30-7:30 tonight, and since about 8 pm I've had about 1200 calories. Most of the time dinner is my largest meal of the day and I've lost about 25 lbs, just stay within your calorie range and you will lose weight.
  • I'm 5'2" and my current goal weight is 125. I'm about 8 pounds away from it (wow can't believe I'm that close) and once I reach it I will reevaluate. According to a body scan my ideal weight would be 120, since I have a lean body mass of about 95 lbs. I would probably be happy if I was able to maintain between 120-125.…
