I cant say I know the cause, but I do know getting discouraged & down and out wont help. There's no way you'll keep gaining if you keep working hard at it. We all have had times where we've just been stonewalled. Keep your eyes on the prize. Good luck!

The scale doesnt indicate progress. I always tell my friends this. I dropped 12 pounds in a week--wasnt even noticeable. The real progress shows up gradually with the months of hard work. Stick with it, it'll be worth it. Space weigh ins too. Try once a month for the truest accuracy of weight lost. I say go with…

A lot of my friends have disappeared. I've only got a few left who are still active, so definitely could use some active friends again. Feel free to add me, any and all.

Whenever im not working out, I have a pretty wide variety I like to listen to. Whenever im working out, I tend to keep it more aimed towards fast paced rock/alternative rock/metal A couple things i've been jamming to lately that goes good with my workout: What a day - Nonpoint (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk4EILfmDzk)…

I tend to delete those who post vague statuses every hour *****ing about their life. I use facebook as my main source of sports news (I follow every sports team in the NBA and NFL, and a couple MLB teams, as welll as many players from all these sports), also to get a lot of laughs from pages i've found that cater to my…

Know how I know you're gay? You have a rainbow bumper sticker on your car that says, "I like it when balls are in my face."

From my experience, you don't have to personally burn 3500 calories to see weight loss. If your TDEE is in line with your total calories consumed to create a big enough deficit, you'll still reach that 3500 or more in a week. You just have to go about calculating those numbers for yourself.

It could be a number of different things. It could be the fact you weighed in right after eating that meal, the sodium combined with the water could easily amount to a 12 pound gain, but it's nothing that would stay with you. One cheat meal will never derail progress that bad. It'd take well over 30,000 calories to gain…

That's the way she goes, buddy. The fuc*in way she goes. I'd always rather the cold then the heat anyways.

I usually have $100 or less to go on a family of four for a whole month. So I know the struggle. I buy what's cheap and not terribly awful for you. Hard to eat healthy when you have to stretch every penny you spend on food.

Hey there, brother. I've read your whole story. While i've never been in the same situation with a woman or with my parents, I feel like I can relate to you a lot in the physical and mental aspect of everything. My highest weight was 354 pounds and I just slowly felt myself losing control of my life as the days went by and…

Been there plenty of times. Been on MFP over 2 years, once left and deleted my first account. Even before joining MFP, I Lost tons of weight (over 100lbs) just to gain it all back. Although bad habits weren't just the cause, I also had a few injuries take me down. Nonetheless, I didn't help with all my habits. Each time we…

I am definitely in that range, and the kicker is, i've actually done it before. I've lost over 100 pounds, but have unfortunately gained it all back mainly due to injuries. So I've been there and done it before, but now im looking to lose it for good, each time has been a lesson learned. Feel free to add me OP or anyone…

I've been in a motivation struggle myself. I've lost over a total of 100+ pounds, but I have gained it all back...multiple times, mainly due to injury. In my absence from MFP i've lost a few friends, although I have some incredibly awesome friends on there still, it'd be nice to have some more active friends on my list…

Yes you are. No clue as to why anyone would get tattoos. I guess that's the popular thing to do now days. Why do something like that to your body? Make ZERO sense to me. P.S. This above statement is sarcasm, I have five big tattoos and i'd actually be covered in tattoos if I could actually afford it!

I find that I lose my motivation quite a bit. The key is even when you aren't feeling up for it, to just keep going and force yourself to go. This is something i've learned the hard way after losing so much progress over and over again. There will days you wont want to do it, but you need to force yourself, otherwise you…

Portion control is key. There was actually a guy who had mcdonalds consecutively for 90 days, and lost over 35 pounds. To keep things simple: Exercising and keeping macros in check are all that matter for losing weight.

Do you wanna wave to, lick teh armpit, bite the toe, suck on the ear, or just cartwheel past the person above you on a scale of 1-10. 10/10 would rate, and id suck your ear. HOW YOU DOING!?

I originally bought compression shorts for just working out, but after how comfortable they felt, I made the switch completely. I now wear compression shorts with everything I wear. Under Armour said it right on the packaging for their compression shorts with "You'll never wear regular underwear again."

You're awesome, Kristi. Enough said.

I go by what Michael Scott says. I too am one against overcomplicating things. It's simple **** that people drag out to be way harder than it really ever needs to be.

CLEVELAND BROWNS!!! We got a good lookin D this year, and when he get back off suspension, a dangerous home-run hitter in Josh Gordon at WR.

Someone has a case of the not-gays, it seems.

They aren't all like that. I consider myself a weighlifter (currently out due to injury) But I see the types you are talking about all the time, but most of the time, they are just keyboard warriors *****ing on the "gym memes" facebook page. It's just overcompensating-alpha-male-bull**** in the people that are like that. A…

Not at all. Im the type of person that finds a way to see beauty in all the things others may not. This included.

Me. I can lose weight and eat whatever I want. But I gotta make sure im incorporating my same vigorous exercise to go with it. But when Im in situations like I am now, where I am injured and can't lift weights, I am nowhere near as active, and it always catches up to me.

Nothin better than plus size girls with curves!

Definitely the food. Some things have been easy to give up, like fast food and soda. But there is still food that I cannot pass up that can easily destroy and counter-product any workout.

inb4 organic hippies. Also, agree with post title.

I agree with what an above poster said. You can fix the weight issue, but ya can't fix ugly. I know this firsthand! lol, so i'd say be glad you already got a great face. You just now need the body you want to go with it and you'll be a full package deal!
