I like the fat free pudding or jello and fruit with cool whip on top. Also, frozen yogurt is pretty satisfying.

I have been doing okay with the fruits and vegetables. Definitely getting my servings every day and it feels and tastes great. This is a really good first challenge.

I love frozen yogurt. Ben & Jerry and Hagen Daas both have some great flavors. Most of them are about 150 calories and 1-2 grams of fat for 1/2 cup which is a nice treat. I also love crackers (be careful) with the laughing cow cheese. Top them with thin pieces of pear and it is heavenly.

I finally got my before picture posted. I was going through my pictures and realized that there were none of me... I am always the one taking the pictures. I finally made my husband take my picture and WOW, I am glad that there are not more pictures of me. :blushing:

Good evening fellow Black Team Members! I am so excited about BL starting next week and about joining this challenge. Good luck to everyone. My busy schedule does not allow me much time to get on here and I find the threads kind of hard to find. Will something about "new black team" be in all topics so we can find the…

Great job. I started out the same weigh ( ). What a motivator!

There was a post from someone within the last day or so about the Lipton Green Tea On The Go. I went and purchased a couple of flavors and WOW! These are actually very good. As someone who dislikes water and has gone from drinking absolutely no water (thirsty used to = soda) to drinking only water and gradually trying to…

I recently rejoined MFP and immediately went and bought a scale for the first time in my life. For me personally, I love having the scale. It helps me focus and hold myself accountable.

Thanks, and Happy Birthday, nonibug!

Today is my daughter's 18th birthday, which we celebrated yesterday. As usual, the celebration involved our extended family going out to dinner and returning to my house for cake and ice cream. I enjoyed dinner (the Cajun Tilapia at Applebee's is delicious and nutritious) and I enjoyed the small piece of Cold Stone…

I recently purchased a couple of the Biggest Loser Workout Videos. Any idea on the calories burned doing these workouts? I want to be sure to add my exercie calories, but I have no idea how to gauge the calories burned.

I am fairly new here, and would love to get in on the BL challenge but am not sure where to begin. Any way I can get on a team?

I don't think her husband is a chef - I think that's Ed. I think Brady is a pharmacist. Regardless, Vicki is evil and I am sooo hopeful that Michelle wins. A big what for to the blue team!

Congratulations on the qutting smoking. After smoking for 20 years or so, I finally quit in April 2007 and I am so glad that I did. If you've made it 77 days, you have it in the bag. Keep up the good work!

It has been my personal experience that friends kind of find you on this site. It is certainly like no other. I think this is the most friendly site I have ever been on. Good luck to you on winning the $ and more luck to you on losing the weight.

This is my second week after rejoining MFP. I have totally cut out soda of any type, have been drinking more water, have been eating healthier and have logged all of my food. I weighed myself today and I have lost 7 pounds this week. I know this is probably mostly water weight, and I am in no way expecting this type of…

Today is Day 2 for me and I feel great. I have had no soda (I thought the headaches was going to kill me!) and have been logging everything that I have eaten. I have eaten smaller portions more often throughout the day. I am finding that I have a lot of leftover calories and available fat at the end of the day, but I don't…

I just saw this post, and I am definitely in. I weigh about 191 right now, so my Christmas goal weight is going to be 185. I am at the very beginning of healthier eating (I started yesterday), but yesterday went really well. I started out strong this morning with a good breakfast and so far I have avoided the donuts that…

I am 5'0 and weigh almost 200 pounds. That is what got me motivated again... closing in on that 200 mark. It was a pretty good day for me. I stayed away from the soda, logged my food all day, and really felt pretty good. After a delicious and healthy dinner, I totally freaked out and ate a brownie and a rice krispy bar. It…

I am just getting started and want to get started right. I have cleaned out all of the junk food, need to go grocery shopping and don't really know HOW to eat right. What are good things for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks? What are must haves to keep on hand? I work about 60 hours a week and go to school full time, so I…

I just came back about a week ago, also my second time around. Like you, I put everyone before myself. I am scared to death of failing yet again. I was with my mom today while she was getting a minor medical procedure done. She is 62 years old, extremely overweight (could barely got up on the gurney), is diabetic and is…

I signed up on myfitnesspal.com last spring. I thought it was a wonderful way to keep encouraged and stay on track. The first couple of weeks were great. I was watching what I was eating, exercising regularly, and losing weight. Then, I began to slide on keeping track of my food. I got busy and quit exercising. Now, it has…

Congratulations! I started at Curves and weighed in on the 11th, and today I weighed in 6 pounds lighter. This is the first time that my attempts at weight loss are working, and it feels great! It is amazing how much more I am enjoing the feeling of accomplishment than I would have enjoyed those cookies

Congratulations! That must be a fantastic feeling! I just started a new exercise/weight loss regime and it is posts that like that give me hope. Thank you.

I just tried that out and it is very addicting. Just what I need, something else to keep me sedentary (haha).

I am an overweight 36 year old mom/wife looking to find myself again. I started Curves and found this site while trying to determine the best way to keep track of what I am eating. So far, I am so impressed. Everyone seems so nice and helpful. I just started Curves and this site this week, and I am excited about the…
