You're doing great! Your work is definitely paying off by the looks of the comparison picks. Great inspiration! And good advice to start small too.
-
Awesome job! I started at around the same as your start weight and looking at that pick is inspiration not to give up.

I never realized how many people didn't eat regular meat to get protein until I joined this forum. I thought maybe if you're vegan or a veggie...but for convenience? Never realize. Not knocking though. Whatever works do it.

You people are hilarious. Do some of you get paid based on the amount of posters you sway to your way of thinking? 1200 calories baaaaaad ha ha ha ha ha. Or 1000 calories gooooooood he he he he he. OP - go see a dr. None of the people here seem concerned at all with your problem, just pushing their own BS on to you as if a…

Don't get me wrong. I love this site. It's working great for me. But Doctor > Website. 60% of the time, it works everytime! But seriously, your doctor is accountable to you and only you. This website is based on general principles of weight loss. There could be very specific reasons as to why she wants you to eat that…

I'm all for pushing yourself. It's the only way to improve. But if you're slaming weights down, they're too heavy for you. If you're grunting like a constipated senior citizen, it's probably best to set it down. There's a clear distinction between a person pushing themself and somebody who is trying to lift too much.

I disagree completely with those who think he's somehow a good guy for being "honest". Telling her how he feels is one thing. But acting like a 2 year old who doesn't get a chocolate bar at the checkout counter is entirely another. Silent treatment, cold texts...etc. That's 100% immaturity. If you can't voice your concern…

I've always been told breaking parallel is poor form for squats and will end up hurting your knees.

Ughh. PF! Have had it off and on for the past 7 years or so. 3 incidents caused a week of absolute bed rest while hoping on one foot to and from the bathroom. The last of which was so severe my achilles was affected. I went for tests at emergency as I feared I had a partial tear in the achilles. Results were not clear of a…

I started here 4 weeks ago with no real "moment". Just a realization that I want to be a father alive for my 2 young little girls. Just a few days ago my 3 year old was watching a commercial and she turned to my wife and said "Mommy, why is that lady crying? Is it because her husband died?" Punch in the gut. That won't be…

5'10" - started at 304lbs. Was 46. Now 294lbs and I'm not sure. Pants feel loose around the waist so maybe I went down a size?

I was an athlete for most of my life and never really worried about my weight. Always had low body fat, great abs...blah blah blah. Started gaining tons of weight when I quit playing sports. One day last month I looked at a picture of my daughters and tried to come up with the words in my mind to appologize. I knew that I…
