QFT, Gamers play games, not consoles. Although I'll probably do the majority of gaming on PC because of the mod community.

People would boycott and those employees making $15 an hour will get replaced by automated equipment and high school student. This will drive the prices back down. Or they'll just replace these employees now before the needs for a price hike. The funny thing is the majority of McDonald's are franchises and I doubt the…

This has been done in the past by Bioware, once with Aribeth and again with Revan. Although both character were never killed, they just disappeared and their final fate was left unknown. Bioware drives a good story so long as the producer doesn't emphasize a "creative vision" over everything else. Personally, I'd rather…

Sounds about right. Fortunately it's probable Bioware will make a new ME and retcon Shepard's death due to the massive amount of revenue it would make.

Apparently the writers were frozen from being able to do anything with the end. The executuve producer and leader writer had their own "creative vision" and didn't allow any other writers involved in the whole serioes to provide input. This is why the story seems to take an abrupt change of pace from the rest of the…

Brew Masters, it was a pretty good show but got cut after one season. There are conflicting reasons as to the cancellation. One production member claims low raitings, Anthony Bourdain claimed a "larger rival" beer company threatened to pull advertisements from Discovery channel. You can find the episodes on youtube; very…

The new Doctor Who played a "W.H.O. Doctor" in World War Z, ironic.

Try it, you never know. It's common for Brits to add milk to their tea so it's not that unusual. I've used coffee mate's low cal/fat free french vanilla and caramel creamers to home brewed and they were good.

Also the US is the only place where you find people inhaling food. Other countries still pace themselves so they will eat less food before they feel full. Meals are often treated as a social aspect; order food in other counties and expect to be there for at least two hours.

QFT, being half Koeran, the food served was a cup of cooked rice at most surounded by a lot of freh vegetable dishes and meats. And to put things into more perspective, a large portion of food in Korea is pan friend since a lot of houses don't have ovens. Most just use burner plates and cook everything on a stove. But the…

I've had a few of their ancient ales and they're pretty good. The only one I didn't care for was the Cheateau Jiahu. I can't recall what I didn't like but it was after drinking a lot of craft beers so my palate couldn't really decide properly. The only one that maybe a bit hoppy is the barleywine, the rest are either…

If this is considered being fired for misconduct, they would be ineligible for unemployment.

There was an article I read awhile about a study that found inappropriate behavior wasn't limited to the immature. Apparently the anonymity of online games brings out a dark said in average people. It wasn't uncommon to find that some of the worst PKs and griefers in MMO's were doctors, lawyers, or teachers in everyday…

Metal Gear Solid Guns of the Patriots Resistance Uncharted Everything that is cross platform I get on other systems because my cheap friends can't afford them all.

I doubt you'd lose your geek status since there are many other things that would classifiy you as a geek. If someoen didn't like sci fi but ran around larping as Drizzt would still qualify. I like both but I prefer Star Wars. I really like the idea for lightsabers but prefer the Mandalorian way of life over Jedi & Sith.

Derpa Derpa Merhurrdurr Jiherp! And it's my pleasure. :drinker:

INFJ Strangely enough the example list us as being a teacher. Unless it's a small class it contradicts our introversion.

Derpa Derpa Sounds like an Al -Qaeda derp.

Sorry for your situation and hope it gets better soon.

It doesn't help that the new DSM V actually has a "binge eating disorder". But it specifically lists it as a disorder and not an addiction. Probably because the concept of an addiction seems to be more of a blanket term for anything that can become a severe habit as opposed to brain function. Neurochemically, the peer…

Interesting article, I'm still reading it but a lot of it makes sense. I have issues with A.D.H.D. so I fully understand the problem with a lack of dopamine. Food was never an addiction but more of a stimulus. And a stimulus is something those of us who already suffer from low levels of dopamine are always on the hunt for.…

Bioshock is a good series, infinite is the best one storywise. The second tapers off a little but it was also outsourced to a different company and it shows. You may also like Fallout 3/New Vegas. They are somewhat similar to borderlands but not as action paced, much more story and quest driven. Skyrim is the same but set…

I remember that game, it got pretty repetetive. And the manual said there were AT-STs but I never saw one. Ah, good ol' Atari games, I was pwning before there were n00bs, haha.

I'll have to check these out. Also there is a movie coming out called "Knights of Badassom" that looks funny. It even has Peter Dinklage (Tyrion from Game of Thrones) in it. Some LARPers somehow unlease a real succubus, cheesy but funny looking. Lightning bolt!

There are casual guilds/clans out there. The caveat being that since they don't have a lot of hardcore players, they rarely raid or warzone due to lack of gear. As for the rest of the games, I guess find some friends to play with regularly. This is why I liked dedicated servers. Finding an active one with great admins…

Oh lord, old school EQ. The week long grinds to gain a level, the massive exp loss upon death, hell and post hell levels, rediculously long camps for gear like the FBSS and GBS. What a contant headache of very little reward with redulously high risk. And how much I miss it all.
-
Wow doesn't that bring back some memories, COPR POR. I really liked Warcraft's storyline and hated the idea of it gonig MMO. I can't stand playing it since it's what made MMO's mainstream and a grindfest for max level and better gear for raids.

Could stop playing with a mic unless you're with your clan. Works for me when playing FPS. Although games that need teamwork, this is kinda hard. If that's the case stick with clans/guildies. Planetside 2 seems to have a more mature player base so you could give that a shot since it's F2P. Just join a good outfit and they…

I got the hankerin' to play the old DOS game One Must Fall 2097 yesterday. I ended up playing it for maybe 10 hours straight and missed my workout. However my bodymedia tracked me burning 3100 calories yesterday. Old school DOS is the new cardio?

From the northeast and love me some Tastykakes! Only place I've ever found them outside of home are military base comissaries. One does not simply walk into WaWa for a twinkie.
