Here's a link that talks about what to prioritise for organics, and what to not.http://www.thedailygreen.com/healthy-eating/eat-safe/Save-on-Sustainable-Gallery-44032808#slide-1 Also, frozen veggies can be super healthy while also cheaper and more convenient. The tend to be healthier than veggies shipped in 'fresh' from…

I'm also a pretty strong believer that you can eat healthy for cheap when strategic. Try to not buy for convenience. Buy a bunch of celery, not the individual sticks. Whole carrots, not baby. Complete broccoli, not just the tops. Prepped properly you get snack food that is healthy, low in cals, and cheaper than chips!…

I'd been following NROLW for six months before switching this past month to train for a half marathon. I miss the squat rack! I still lift heavy at least once a week, but won't be serious about it again until after May. No pics for you, but with NO attention to my diet, I still saw results. Oh, and my years of f'd up back…

I've been practicing for 10 years, and outside of the fact that it keeps me from walking around like a hunched up troll, it…

Lift! it's awesome. Take your measurements first and then Lift! Pick up New Rules of Lifting Supercharged if you want a great, adaptable plan... Lifting has made me lose, and made me confident, and it is awesome being stronger. I'm excited for you vicariously!!!!

Here's a big secret: Everyone thinks that they are the odd ball out sometime. It's universal. So don't let it get you down.

Pshaw - perfect is relative and you're only looking at one aspect. Who knows what goes on in their world - everyone has struggles and challenges and things that they suck at. You just happen to be working on improving something, which means you are exposing yourself. But that is AWESOME! In the um, like, 14 years since I…

Forget about them - even if someone is paying enough attention and judgmental enough to think they are hotter, what difference does it really make to your health? Remember, strangers won't take care of you when you are sick, nor will their opinions actually impact on your journey. You are the only one who matters here, and…

I'm training for a half right now - first one after running 10k for a number of years. Using Hal Higden novice http://www.halhigdon.com/training/51131/Half-Marathon-Novice-1-Training-Program and finding it works well. Miss lifting heavy weights 3x week, but still getting to lift them 1x week. Also cross training with…
