Today is day 8 for me and I am already noticing a big difference in inches, but last week lost no weight with it. I am nowhere close to my goal weight, so that may be part of the difference for me too. I think during the first little bit of it, you tend to build some muscle, so I wasn't totally surprised not to lose. I…

Glad to read this! I was thinking about buying this, and now I am for sure! I don't want to get bored during my workouts, so this will be a great way to mix things up!

I've used it in the past and I lost 20lbs. I also just got a set of 4 dvds....the Amped series....from Amazon for $15. I did it once and hurt my arm, so I will get back to it when it heals more. It was one heck of a workout!

i just got it and today was day 3! It just about killed me the first day, but today was a little bit easier. I was really sore yesterday, but I feel better today! Hoping for great results!

I am having that exact same kind of week! I am nervous about weighing in tomorrow because I feel like I'm not getting anywhere! I decided to really increase my water intake because that is something I am not good about. I'm hoping that I'm just being impatient and it's not really that I'm not getting anywhere!

5lb weights are way too heavy!! I would never be able to do that. I got some cheap 1lb ones at Walmart and they are perfect. I think if you got the right weights, you'd have much better luck. I can do it with the lighter ones. It's still not easy, but I can get through it. Good luck!

Great job!! The bigger losses at the beginning are what really get me going! Keep up the good work....all the little changes add up!

If you take a cake mix and mix it with 12oz of diet pop and nothing else, you can bake it just like a regular cake or cup cakes and get a really low cal dessert. We "frost" it with cool whip. You can use any flavor cake and pop that you want.

Welcome...and welcome back!! I know how you feel about the "eat=live" thing. My quote in my profile is "Eat to live, don't live to eat!" I would be glad to help support you. And I don't usually look at people's diaries very often...lol! Good luck. Sending a friend request your way.

I love this recipe and have made it three times since starting this program! I have an added twist to it...let the cake cool and then mix a package of sugar free jello with one cup of boiling water. Poke holes in the cake, pour the jello in and let it set in the fridge for a couple of hours. Then top with the cool…

You bring up some good points. I keep my diary private partly because I just think it's weird to have people looking at everything I eat. I eat a pretty balanced diet, but I still don't want people watching every little thing. The main reason I have it set to private, though, is the exercise calorie issue. I feel that MFP…

I don't mean skinny in the skin and bones sense. I'm not a huge fan of that word either, but that is the phrase I've heard and I'm just relating it to that. I never want to be so skinny it looks bad, but thin would be nice! And, it is not about not wanting to eat either....I love food, but for me it's about making better…

I have been on here for three weeks now. Welcome! I love this site! I will send requests to you guys! The support is great!

I love the Splenda French Vanilla flavored sweetener. I can't drink coffee without it. It's low in cals, so I can easily work it into my day if I'm having coffee.

Sending a request...good luck, and hope to be able to give you some support!

I have the Wii Fit and I love it. I think a lot of people don't think it's much of a workout, but I make sure I push myself hard while doing it. I agree that you get out what you put in. I did the Rhythm Boxing two days in a row and my arms were sore, but I worked really hard doing it too. It's worth it, especially for me…

My Wii Fit and my scales are pretty close. I think they only vary by a pound or so. I would definitely try a different scale and see how that compares to yours. Maybe yours is off somehow. Good luck!

I have had it twice now and haven't noticed weight gain with it either time. I love it! I immediately stopped having periods and just since picking up exercise and diet had one light, light one. It's great! It's one of the only reasons I didn't have my tubes tied after my third baby.

Sure! Welcome! This is a great site and the people here are amazing, supportive people! Good luck...sending you a friend request!

Welcome! I have young kids too, so can understand the exercise thing, but I've found some ways to make it happen. I try to do it when my little one takes her nap. I then either have my four year old do something with me, or I find him something to keep him busy for at least 20 mins. I make sure I am ready to start as soon…

The more friends th better, as far as I'm concerned. Everyone connects with different things and the wider range of people helps you get more than one view. AND, you never know when something you say is going to hit someone in just the right way. Feel free to add me, if you'd like. I have been here for just over a week and…

If you're asking, it's definitely not out of control. I'd lose control if I had one, though, and then someone would have to stage an intervention...lol!

Welcome! There are so many of us here in the same boat, and this is a great place for support and motivation. Friend request coming!

Your body may be still adjusting to your new routine. Or, you could just be having one of those weeks that the weight you think you should have lost just didn't budge. I'll bet next week the drop will be larger. Also, I just started watching The Biggest Loser this season and I notice they talked a lot about the dreaded…

Hey...1.8lbs lost is excellent! I mentioned this to someone earlier this week too...sometimes I'll notice that when I think I'm going to lose more, I don't, but the next week I seem to lose more. There are so many fluctuations in our bodies on any given day, that it's hard to tell why it happened. You could step on the…

My kids say stuff like that to me once in a while too. I actually told my 4 yr old that I want to lose my belly that has developed after 3 c-sections. He pointed at it the other day and said, "Mommy, you haven't lost it yet." Gee...I just started. It actually motivates me to do more. Just remember, we're all here for…

I know exactly how you feel. I have been there. At my old job, people would actually make fun of me for eating healthy, and though my husband is suppportive of whatever I do, he wouldn't care if I never lost a pound. That really made it hard for me to care. We all hit walls in this process, you just have to have a voice in…

I feel the same way. My son was a little "chunky" from the time around 2 to right around the end of age three. According to my doctor, he was at a healthy weight, and a number of months before he turned four, he shot up in height and seemed to slim down a bit. As long as you make sure she is active and offer her healthy…

Welcome! I'm sort of new to this too, but I'm with ya...I don't love to exercise, but have a Wii and have started doing the Just Dance Kids with my son. It's killing me! I also do a lot on the Wii Fit because winter here stinks and I try not to go outside if I don't have to..ha! I sent you a friend request. Support is a…
