Thanks everyone :-) I ended up dragging my *kitten* to the gym and doing 17 minutes on the treadmill. 5 minute warm up walk and 5 minutes running 5 minutes walking and then almost 3 minutes running again. I actually started feeling better once I started but before it was said and done the arches of my 'good' foot (old…

I'm really just beginning with my running but I do 5 Minute increments of walking and running. I started with 2 minutes of walking and then 2. Minutes of running/jogging after a 5 Minute warm up. I've heard wonderful things about C25K but wanted to build up some minimal endurance before beginning. The hardest part for me…

I have a similar issue but my toes go numb when I am working out on the elliptical. I'm far from a medical professional but I came to the conclusion that it had something to do with the way I was 'pushing down' on my feet. OK, I've had the C25K app downloaded for forever now. I started it once before and didn't make it past the 1st week. Idon't honestly think it starts with something that is possible for someone who has never run before. I want to give it a shot to switch things up with my workout. So, here is my question: should I start…

I honestly thought I was the only one with a goal like this! My birthday is October 2nd and I want to lose 100lbs by then :-) So, that gives me 10 months instead of 12 but it averages at 10lbs a month. I think this is doable :-) I'm in!! Add me and we can keep traceach others progress and encourage eachother

I would like to lose at least 50 and I'm not stopping until I get there!! Add me if you like :-)

Thanks for the support! I am doing 30 minutes on the 'weight loss' setting for the elliptical. It starts with a resistance level of 5 and switches back and forth to resistance level of 10. I try to beat the distance from the previous day and tonight I will be trying to go further than 1.20 miles. Even if it's just .01 Of a…
