I take a bunch of cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeno and add it to the blender with some water, salt and olive oil. Pour that over a salmon fillet. Broil on low for about 15 mins or when done and put over a bed of greens (arugula tastes great with it.) Add some fresh avocado slices. Good to go.

Because I used to lose weight by counting calories. That doesn't work anymore and I am looking for something that will. I hate it when people tell me that I must be doing something wrong b/c unless calorie counting changed in the last couple of years, I know I am doing it correctly.

These replies are great. I'm starting to see a pattern. For the most part it would seem that people who have PCOS and insulin resistance don't easily fit into the whole calories in and calories out category but they do very well by keeping the carbs low.

Push ups to start with. Do you have access to an outdoor park with resistance stations? Can you invest in some weights for at home use. I'm bumping this.
