It depends on the person. In general, one shouldn't be afraid of good fats. However, if you're someone that needs to seriously slash calories to lose, and it's not simply a matter of perfectly balanced macro-nutrients, you may want to consider a moderate amount of fat vs. a higher amount. Hope that made sense.
