  • Isn't it a great feeling? I will run treadmill on days when I have no choice due to bad weather, but I too prefer to run outdoors. I started training for my first 5k at the end of April and ran my first 5k 2 weeks ago, and finished faster than I was expecting. Give me the open road any day of the week. I am thinking about…

  • I just ran my first 5k last weekend and signing up for my second that will be in Oct. I have a great pair of running shoes, I too love my running skorts and all of the moisture wicking tanks and tshirts. I hadn't even thought about special socks, so that is going on my list of must buys. I have the Polar FT7 and I…

  • I have the FT7 and love it! It tracks fat burn and allows you to track using the training files. I am still learning all of the bells and whistles, but so far have been extremely happy with it. It cost a little more than the 4, but it had a few more features that I was interested in. Enjoy your new purchase!! :flowerforyou:
  • I have the full out fatty version of this and it is our favorite banana bread recipe of all time!!! I can't wait to give this lighter version a try. Thanks for sharing it!!:flowerforyou:
  • A friend once "forced" me to try his chocolate covered bacon  .....needless to say, I have had a hard time with bacon since then. Guess maybe that was a good thing in the long run. Some things are just not meant to be covered in chocolate! Why ruin a good thing? mmmmmmm chocolate.
  • West Michigan, Muskegon to be exact. On the shores of Lake Michigan, and home to the most beautiful sunsets!!!!! (also lived in Boston for 2 years and Newport News, VA for a year) Nothing beats the four seasons!!!!!
  • I just made these. I used Smuckers Natural PB with 1 g of sugar....I took a big ol` bite thinking No Bake cookie....needless to say, I had to dump them back in the bowl and add honey. Maybe I have a sweet tooth, or maybe I should have used the Jif Natural PB with more sugar. I think this will be closer to what they should…

  • I'm copying and pasting from a previous blog....I was planning on making it today...hopefully tomorrow. Fill a large zip lock bag with ice and add a 1/2 cup of table salt. The salt is to make the ice super cold and speed freezing. It does not touch the ice cream. In a measuring cup, pour 1 cup of almond milk (I like…
  • Edy's Slow churned 1/2 yogurt....haven't met a flavor that I didn't like = )~ 100 calories and around 3 grams of fat (that's what they say on the ones in my freezer anyway) Plus I love the Skinny Cow sandwiches and bars, they have a White chocolate mint truffle that is to die for!

  • Is there such thing as a 32 A- ???? Because I am pretty sure that is me...an A-....or an A wannabe.....I was lucky enough to be a B for a short time in my life....unfortunately, it was when I was 20# heavier.....thank goodness for good bra's, or I might be mistaken for a boy  We must, we must, we must increase our…
  • All of your wraps inspired me. My now #1 wrap to make is a Chicken Avocado Wrap. Here's what's in it: 1 Mission Life Balance Tortilla ("Grilled using Pam cooking spray, I like mine almost crisp) 1 Wedge of Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb Spread on warm tortilla 2-3 thin slices of avocado On top of cheese layer thin sliced…
  • My husband did a TON of research before buying ours. It is better than the kind they have at my gym....I personally had a moment of "YOU PAID HOW MUCH????? :noway: " but it is an amazing treadmill. Just wish it would have come with a maid or personal cook or something to help offset the cost. He is a 6 foot guy that likes…
