Vegans don't eat whey products. If you consume animal byproducts, you partake in a plant based vegetarian diet. Definitions are not flexible; they are what they are.

OP, if you provided us with your height/weight, it would be easier to address your question. The short of it is that yes, you should be able to lose weight and with gradual reverse dieting be able to return to maintenance without putting on an insane amount of weight. The truth is, though, 1200 calories is often too low…

Dissenting opinions and unapologetic honesty =/= "mob mentality." In fact, there are several people here--usmcmp is one of them--who consistently answer the same questions and dispell the same myths, day in and day out. Does it get old? Yeah. Sometimes you have to laugh to get over the sheer redundancy of the culture of…

Congratulations on your progress, and I sincerely hope you meet all of your goals and then some. It takes some big ones to come back and say you were wrong. You'll go far.

Oh. This brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad you were able to share this with your mom, and that seeing your colorful shoe collection makes you think of her. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Nobody is going to be looking at you on that night or in pictures afterwards wondering what your number on the scale is. If you can do that and still be successful and healthy, why wouldn't you want to? I gave you a suggestion back on page two of this…

Your "Google it" suggestion is just way too ironic. Yes, by all means, please Google it. But don't click the first, second, or even the tenth link. A lot of us got where we are by using Google - intelligently. Peer reviewed studies done by reputable, unbiased parties are the way to go. Any other nuggets of wisdom you wish…

Dude, I seriously don't know. It's like the argument about eating a full-lard diet instead of broccoli and carrots. Just... what?! When did anybody ever... oh never mind.

Honestly, I'd be hiring a new MT. It took her FOUR YEARS? Criminey.

Nope. It's what makes all of this so hilarious:
-
So you mean to say, some people answer the same questions with the same answers all the time? That sounds more like consistency to me, friend.

Add meat and vegetables to your ramen. Makes it taste better and gives you "whole" ingredients. You don't have to cut anything out as long as you can maintain eating it in moderation.
