Are you sure it's not 25 calories per lb of LBM? 2900 calories is ridiculously high for someone weighing 117lb. I barely lose anything at 1000 calories below that. I'm with usmcmp, I think your trainer is WAY off and you should either get some clarification from him/her or consider a new one.
