Most importantly, it's fantastic that you made a full recovery from the cancer. Congratulations on taking such great steps to improve your health. You should be extremely proud of yourself :)

I agree with the posters above...it depends on what is in your cheat meal (s). You're not the only one that gains a few pounds by one or two days of bad eating. I always find that getting right back on track with eating healthy, exercising and drinking LOTS of water those pounds come off fairly quickly. Don't give up!…

This is definitely one of he best transformations I've seen, especially emphasizing the importance of weight training. You look incredible and so much younger. Congratulations!

SMACK! (In the nicest way.) You should definitely celebrate. Even if you don't want to celebrate the number, celebrate all of your hard work and changes you've made to improve your health. Losing 37 pounds is not easy. I think we should all celebrate every step of the way. Keep up the great work. What you're doing for…

Sometimes people say the dumbest things without even realizing how dumb it is. Don't let it deter you. You're doing great. Keep pushing forward and you will reach your goals :)

I don't log in much on the weekends because I usually don't have the time. I also struggle with eating healthy on the weekends so it does make difference. I definitely have to make more of an effort to stay on track on the weekends. Yes, not tracking my food on the weekends does effect my weight but 1 or 2 days does not…

Insanity is definitely not a shortcut. I'm doing it now. It's intense and challenging but I'm loving it. You can always modify it if some of the moves are tough on your knees or another body part. I have no intention of doing Insanity forever but I do intend on doing cardio. This is a program for 60 days, not to be used…

Everyone's lists made me smile. I remember jellies shoes, Smurfs and Snorkels early on Saturday mornings, taping the count down on cassette from the radio, Atari, original Cabbage Patch kids, garbage patch cards, My Buddy, rotary phones, phone numbers that began with letters (MU8-....), area codes covered the whole state,…

Congratulations on your success so far! Keep up the great work :)

I do Insanity in the morning and I do not eat anything before it. I do not have any negative effects from it (upset stomach, extra soreness, lack of energy, etc.). Working out in the morning ensures that I get it done without distractions and it sets the tone for my day.

Great idea!

Tell him to come back and stay away for the negative forums and forums totally unrelated to weight loss. He should really look at success stories. Those have always been the main reason I even look at the message boards. They are so inspirational and encouraging. They helped me a lot when I first started on MFP. I hope he…
