A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of bricks. Of course a pound of something weighs the same as a pound of something else. But no one would claim a bag filled with feathers weighs the same as a bag full of bricks. The feathers are fat, the bricks are muscle. It would take a larger volume of feathers to equal…

I think you're stunning in all those pics, the before and after! What a gorgeous figure, your curves are to die for! Congrats on your weight loss! And good luck for the rest of your journey :)

For me, a binge is when I uncontrollably just stuff food in my face. It doesn't matter whether it's healthy or not - I see a binge as being the process of mindlessly eating quickly, regardless of whether I want the food or not. In fact, when I'm 'binging' I frequently tell myself that I don't want the food, that I'll…

Beautiful eyes and smile!

I used to be on Weightwatchers and I could never understand why I struggled to lose weight some weeks. I would lose some, but it was never as much as I had predicted. Since starting MFP I've realised why my weight loss was so erratic on WW - it's because of all this so-called 'free food' that I was eating! Unbeknownst to…

Absolutely stunning!

I would say a 12/14 on top, 16 on bottom? And I completely agree with the person who said you'd rock 1950s fashion! Pin up, rockabilly - your figure is perfect for that style! Very jealous!

32?

Oops, I'm clearly not thinking tonight!

American? Or Dutch?!

That's quite interesting! I've lowered my carb intake quite significantly recently, so I guess I can attribute that to the fact that my weight fluctuates a lot less than it used to when I was going overboard with the carbs! :p
-
Since I've altered my diet my weight only tends to fluctuate 1-2lbs between morning and night.

I weigh myself every waking hour of the day haha! I have a weird obsession with standing on the scale when I wake up, after breakfast, after lunch, after tea, before bed... I don't know why I do it! But I don't pay attention to the numbers at all, I think it's just force of habit. I also like to see if there is a pattern…

Thank you :) Of course I can send you some recipes! I'll look out my favourites and type them up :)

Forgive me, but I genuinely fail to see why you had an issue with my post? I stated that clean eating has worked for ME, but that I know you don't NEED to eat this way. As the OP was wondering about clean eating, I described to her my own personal experience with it. I'm well aware that she posted in a forum. As far as I'm…

Ahh, ok I see! Aw, don't feel like that! You still kept relatively low with your calories, so I'm guessing that the weight gain you see will more than likely just be water retention! :) Everyone has to enjoy themselves! I assumed that was your regular way of eating, but if it was for a birthday then there's nothing wrong…

To me, it looks as though you are having quite a lot of takeaways/eating out a lot, as well as having alcohol fairly regularly. I don't always trust the calories that MFP gives for takeaways - the 'chip shop chips' that you had for example - to be honest I feel that they would have been a lot more than the 200 odd calories…

I know a lot of people don't agree with the notion of 'clean eating', but since I've started eating about 90% clean I haven't had a single craving when it comes to that dreaded time of the month! I used to crave everything - chocolate, crisps, sweets, baby elephants... and I wouldn't think twice about just giving in to…

It sounds to me like you've misunderstood the 'burning more calories than you take it' thing. If you eat 1650cals, you don't then have to burn all that off with exercise in order to lose weight (is that what you think? Sorry if I've misunderstood your question, that's just what I thought you meant! :P ). Your body requires…

Yay! It's such an amazing motivation when you meet one of your goals. You have done an incredible job!! The difference is so noticeable and you look stunning! Such a gorgeous girl!

It's frustrating when someone expresses an interest in clean eating, only to be met with a barrage of comments attempting to dissuade that person, branding clean eating 'pointless'. Yes, from a purely weight-loss perspective its not imperative - you'll still lose weight if you're at a deficit, regardless of whether you're…

I understand where you're coming from. I've recently moved back home from uni after living in my own place for 5 years and it really is a struggle to go from being independent to having someone dictate what you must eat for tea. You just need to remember that your mum isn't doing this to annoy you, or try to hinder your…

I know exactly how you feel... If I added up all the weight I've lost over the years I've probably lost about 20 stones, yet I'm still very overweight! I hate having to start over and over again. But this time, something has clicked. I know that this time I'm going to do it. I think it is because I invested in personal…

Turkey strips seasoned with smoked paprika and garlic, with avocado and tomatoes... Was yummy!!

21? You're gorgeous!
-
Hehe :) I really admire you for that. Unfortunately I can't see myself having the confidence to be proud of my loose skin, hence my current worry. It's predominantly a superficial concern; having been overweight all my life I want to be able to feel attractive, to prance about the beach in a bikini instead of sitting in…

Kelly Rowland!

Hahaha, oops, took too long to post! :p

I'm seeing a bit of J-Lo! Think it's your gorgeous eyes and smile!
