Brilliant - you must feel great!

Ha! We've all fallen off the wagon - or more like gloriously jumped off! Guess the best thing after a bad day is just to tell yourself 'so what it's only a day' and carry on again. It's when you have lots of days together that you lose the plot. You've done it before you can do it again. The support here is great because…

Losing weight is difficult and can only be done in a way that suits you. Try weighing yourself once a month and take measurements, something weird happens, you often lose inches when not losing weight! Don't go below the 1200. Especially if you are exercising. That is usually a number you would use for two weeks only.…

Good for you! I do the forfiet thing too, means you can eat a lot more of the stuff you want too. Smile sweetly and think what you like! My boss is on me all the time about what to eat or do - come to think of it I'm self employed. No hassle from co-workers. You're doing brilliantly, congratulations.

Spray chicken breasts with One cal Barbeque spray and grill.

One of the few times when a 200lb gain has to be congratulated! Wishing you both a long and happy marriage.

Well done - you look fantastic. Enjoy the new you.

Hoots man - am Scottish! Correct we talk normal and are awesome people. Can even work out some things - what was the question?
-
Brilliant - think you get an extra special medal or something for that! Amazing, well done.

Buying a couple of tops that were size medium. Quite a change from the xxl ones from last year! Congratulations all on your successes.
-
Congratulations - brilliant success - you've worked hard to get there. Enjoy!
-
Sorry - never going to work - 44 days of sunshine in Scotland is unheard off!
-
As above.

I'm with Anne on this one. Put things like that out of sight so you have to make a concious effort to get them, can be enough to stop you. What would be your exercise 'forfiet' if you did eat one - lot of effort to burn off one of them? Don't bake them, move on to something like a healthy flapjack.

Congratulations on your weight loss and wedding! You look great.

Hi! I'm married, for 34 yrs, (oh! That makes me feel old) to a wonderful man. We live in central Scotland at the foot of the hills. I love hillwalking and walking. Sadly no kids, such is life. Our garden is a wee bit rough round the edges but the wildlife love it. I always have food out for the birds. We go abroad every…

Add me too, all help is great.

Oooh poor you! You're quite right to let rip about it. You must have felt awful, hope you are much better now. Everything feels so much worse when you are away from home. Take care.

tekwriter could be right - it's often easy to forget to add calories. Nibbling while making meals for instance. It is good to eat better but still possible to lose weight and still include carbs etc. Avoiding salt helps too. You'll find a way that works for you. There is a limit to the amount of weight gained by muscle…

Likewise, have a few friends I keep up with. Add me if you would like, I'm 57 and find this site really helps.

Enjoying your posts. Your husband sounds like a wonderful support to you, like mine has been over the years. (Aren't we lucky?) Like you I have the 'stomach' thing going on. When first starting with exercise a dvd I was doing told me to 'now pull in your stomach muscles' I lay there thinking, 'just as soon as I find them…

I've been dieting for around 15 months now and lost 75 pounds taking me down to 200 pounds. It helped when I joined here, at 65 pound and struggling, nice to talk to people in the same position. found it easier to exercise the more weight I lost. Like walking, free and easy to start with. Hope you find something you enjoy.…

That is a difficult one - last year I managed to lose 3 pounds - yes I was surprised too. Basically stuck to small meals breakfast and lunch, sensible options. Evenings were a bit more but still stuck to one course - works for me - didn't drink either. (Alcohol makes me want to eat everything in sight.) Went for lots of…

Tough news about your Dad, hope he is recovering quickly. The good news is you've lost the weight before and can do it again. Now you are so well motivated you'll get there. Add me as a friend if you want, have been on the site for 100 days today (so they tell me!) It makes a big difference to have the support of others.…

http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc I use this site if I'm unsure. It balances the calories burned using the weight you put in.
