My husband and I really enjoy going to yoga together... it took quite a bit of convincing to get him to try it, but once he did he was hooked! You could also go out and hike/snowshoe/cross country ski together, since it's winter and all!

My dad loves golf! I however, am terrible at it.... but I guess that's an excuse to try more! We'll just have to wait for it not to be a million below zero to do that! :)

I'm slightly shorter than you (5'2"), and I weigh 192. I wear size 16 jeans, sometimes a size up or down depending on brand.

Both weight gain and period loss are effects of that specific form of birth control... your doctor should have explicitly told you that. Those are the main reasons my doctor advised against the DEPO shot.

I get lower back pain when running, and although it's not the same as lifting, my trainer told me to keep my core tight at all times while running. It does also help the residual pain in my back during my lifting sessions... maybe try tightening your core (suck your belly button into your spine). I wouldn't suggest going…

I'm 5'2" My highest weight was 210, but I'm just starting out again at 194. I hope to get to 144 by my 25th birthday in March! It's a long shot... but I think it can be done. :)

I do get a bit sore in my lower back after running. I could do more stretching afterwards I guess- couldn't hurt.
