I need to lose 5 pounds - hopefully more! And I've been averaging about 10 miles a week total for cardio...I want to get that to 12 :)

It really is progress when you work out on vacation!! I've done it too and it felt so great.

This site has worked for me...don't be scared!! Be in charge of your body!! It's an invigorating feeling!

It's the only thing that's worked for me!! I'm down 10 pounds in 2 months and still going strong...never would have thought eating right and exercise REALLY works!

I'm kind of the same way. I love taking pictures and usually like being in them, but I critique the heck out of myself in every picture I take and make myself feel horrible!! I also have a goal of being in pictures and loving how I look, no matter what hair is out of place!!

Just exercise and eat right. Much better for you and more rewarding!

I didn't think calories rolled over either but burning 3500 calories = 1 pound. So technically, if you want to burn 1 pound a week and you're under on calories one day, you could eat those calories the next day and it would balance out in the long run.

I love those! I've had the raspberry ones...but I need to buy more!

Definitely check measurements. But I would say 'up the annie' a little bit...eat a little bit less calories and make your workouts a little more intense. Couldn't hurt!! AND ALWAYS REMEMBER WATER!!! It helps!!!

I'm not really a home cookin' guru, but I've been trying to do better too! I like to keep fresh veggies and fruits around always and chicken of course. Wheat breads, eggs, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), light butter, non fat milk...etc.

Baked Chicken and Mac and Cheese!! Cover boneless, skinless chicken breast half with Shake and Bake, bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, whip up some Kraft Mac and Cheese (light prep of course) and you got yourself a quick and delicious meal!! Under 500 calories ;)

Protein fills you up so snack on foods with protein in them and it might help!! - peanut butter, protein bars, peanuts, hard boiled eggs...etc.

I just want to get to size 8 again. That's what I always remember being in high school and I've slowly crept to a size 14... I did try on my old jeans that were too small and now they're too big!! Those are all about size 12-14 so I'm making progress!!

Haha I like it. This question is so rare ;)

My husband is in the academy right now, so I don't feel your pain yet, but I like seeing the wives perspectives. Such a scary job!!

Subway is a great fast food option. It's the best you can get calorie wise. Get a 6 inch and it's fine.

SCREW HIM!!! Tell him he's too skinny for you...

                Thank you!! Sounds great :)

Eat when you're hungry. Listen to your body, it'll tell you what you need.

It's okay! It's the hard days that make the good days worth while :)

I'm sooooo glad you posted this.. It's been bugging me that so many people don't know the difference!!

Yeah it's completely up to you. You're going to burn the calories no matter what time it is. Just pick a time that works with your schedule and that you can do consistently. I do nights after work because there's no way I can get up early to do it...
