I notice it much more now than I did at the beginning. When I first started losing it was a steady decline, I literally did not see the scale go up once for the first 15 pounds, always moving down. The closer I get the more I bounce back and forth, but I don't worry about it too much, because over all I'm still losing. My…

I was supposed to do that "cleanse" thing for a week, and I don't need any scientific evidence to tell me it was a bad idea. That was pre-MFP, and this has been a much, much better experience! And much more effective.

I don't care if it's healthy or unhealthy--or if it involves getting to eat everything in the world in one day-- nothing but veggie juice and water for a whole day sounds like torture to me. I tried eating nothing but raw fruits and veggies on this crazy body cleanse that I thought I'd try, and it was awful. I lasted a…

I am currently in the range of healthy BMI. At my height, the range is 129-174, so at 160 I fit easily. I guess it's more looks I'm worried about than the actual number on the scale. 150 was kind of a shot in the dark, since I've never been that thin before. Thanks for the input and I guess I'll have to see when I get…

Just wondering if you have any good articles on this, since that's about how much I have left to lose and I'm still set to lose 1lb a week. I've never heard of eating more daily to continue losing, so I'd like to read up on it.

I don't have that problem at all! Maybe you can contact an administrator or something. I'm 5'10" and currently 164 trying to lose 1lb a week, and it gives me 1650.

Vanilla (I like lucerne light vanilla) and fresh berries and granola. Yum!

I never thought of studying while working out! That sounds like a great idea! Thanks so much!

Good luck! I started at 185 myself and I'm at 165 now and it feels great. Just keep on logging!

I'm the same way with my boyfriend! I'm always trying to remind him as kindly as possible that he should really try to keep track of what he's eating, because I know he'd be shocked if he was recording it all like we do!

I was shocked, but I do still have some chocolate now and then. Just a little at a time though, like a couple hershey's kisses.

I think everyone's relationship is different. I like to share everything with my man, but that's just us. I know he still thinks I'm attractive--he tells me everyday!--so I don't feel I have anything to be ashamed of around him. Especially now that I've been losing, I'm constantly updating him because I'm very proud of the…

READ LABELS AND MEASURE. Limiting yourself with portions and stuff comes pretty easy if you're aware if what you're eating. Think before you eat. Always log in your food. And eat things that will keep you full for a while, try to stay away from processed foods, you'll burn those up pretty quick and be hungry again.

Think I might use this a bit. Sounds silly, but I hadn't really thought of all that stuff yet.

I want to state that I'm not necessarily equating thin with healthy, or even with beautiful. But I'm talking people that are OBESE. My theory, a bit undeveloped and simple as of yet, is that they've simply given up on themselves. It is easier to eat whatever you want, however much you feel like, and sit around all day…

I'm 5'10", my starting weight was 185, the heaviest I've been in my whole life! That's why I decided to join. It's only been about a week, and I'm 178, and my goal is to be 150, MAYBE 145, depending on how I feel when I get to 150. The least I can remember being is 165, that was in high school, so I'm shooting for a bit…

I used to do the same, but I find it much easier to eat controlled portions throughout the day. This logging thing really helps, because I know exactly how much more I can eat, and I really try to make those last couple hundred calories worth it by eating something that I know will keep me full for the rest of the night.
