FT4 here too! And in pink. I love it! I have found mfp to be way off. Like just a few minutes ago I logged 21 minutes of indoor cycling. MFP says I burned 244 cals but my HRM says 138 cals.

Marking this for the idea's. I love my crockpot too but have few recipes. I start nursing school in a couple weeks and with the kids' extra-curriculars I just might love it even more.

Set mine for 50 also, thanks.

This sounds like fun! I would love to join.

I am doing c25k and am just on week 3 day2 today. I love it so far and amazed that I could really go for 2.5 minutes. I have never been a runner and as far as exercise goes I have only loved biking outdoors but I really love doing this. Hoping I can enter a 5k race as it is one of my personal goals. I cannot wait to see…

I run in a very rural area also. I swear people see me on the side of the road and speed up as they are trying to get as close to me as possible. When I first started I thought maybe it was because I had darker colors on and they couldn't see me too well, so I bought a couple bright neon colored shirts and wear those. That…

I started the c25k 3.5 weeks ago. I just did week 3 day 1 last night and I can run for 2.5 minutes!! I tried this program last year inside on my treadmill and gave up. BUT now I run outside and love it. I do not have much advice since I am pretty new to this too. Good luck!

Planks and push ups! I am more of a cardio exerciser though...biking and walking/running. I can not do a push up to save my life and holy cow, planks are hard! My 9 year old daughter can do lots of push ups and hold a plank for over 2 minutes. Yeah I am completely jealous of her, haha.

I do mine all at once and have never even considered doing it throughout the day. I am not sure what difference it would make but I would just much rather go all at once and be done then have to worry about when I will get it in throughout the day.

I use mapmyrun and love it! I also love to ride my bike and use mapmyride for that.

ANYTHING!! I love grilling! It is so easy and less dishes too. Yesterday, for lunch I had grilled eggplant. It came out of my garden and so delicious! Grilled pineapple is delicious too.

I feel for ya! As a mother of 5, I have to make it a priority or else my workout won't happen. Have you thought about finding something like running, walking, cycling, etc? That you can do outside of the home without the cost of a gym membership? I love cycling and have recently started the c25k. I ride/run on quiet…

This is very good advice! Last May I decided to go pescatarian. I thought I was doing really well until one morning while waiting for one of my daughters to come out of the bathroom, I passed out. I have never passed out before and it freaked me out. I would love to try it again but now I have the fear of passing out.

It actually curbs my cravings. I love my coffee but I add sweetner and hersheys chocolate caramel creamer to mine ;)

LMAO! These are so funny. I just started running and was thinking how ADHD I was but now I know I am not alone, haha. My thoughts when I am biking though are another story. I ride outside of town in a very rural area. The other day I passed many beer cans and bottles, then a bong! YES, it was green and laying on the side…

I cook for me, my husband and 5 kids. We all pretty much eat the same thing. I do however make other things that the kids love maybe once a week and I eat leftovers. The biggest struggle for my kids was no more chips. I do buy veggie straws and they like those (well except my 5 year old). My kids love, LOVE fruits and…

I make an awesome chicken fajita salad and use salsa for the dressing...so yummy!

I have to agree. I make these wonderful grilled pizza's that come in less than 400 calories for a small personal pizza. Pizza is my favorite food...why ruin it?!?! I personally do not mind alot of the lower cal stuff. I am willing to try anything but don't mess with my pizza!

Would love to join if there is room.

I have made a couple times a week "meatless" days. So lately I have been trying to find new recipes and have even incorporated things I have never tried. Yesterday I made these amazing grilled eggplant and mushroom sandwiches. Making the eggplant made me a little nervous as I wasn't sure I would like it but it was really…

I am not a big carrot eater either. I do not like them raw but can eat them when cooked.

This sounds like fun! Count me in too! My finals are next week so I figured I would have some free time too :)

A few of mine.... Ride in an airplane! Yep, never been in a plane but next April for hubby and I's 10th anniversary we plan to fulfill this one for me. Save someone's life. Finish nursing school...I am halfway to my BSN! Reach my goal weight...yes this is on my list! Run/bike a race. Other items include: going to certain…

I have to agree with some of the first advice you got. Just dive right in and set small goals. I started this journey over and over again with each time gaining back the weight. I would set my goal as where I wanted to end up instead of smaller goals and became discouraged. I set a goal in February that I wanted to lose 27…

I have never heard these things but my husband has. He is 6 ft and 218 lbs. He lost about 36 lbs recently. He text me the other day and said some lady he works with told him if he lost any more weight he would look sickly. I told him to tell her that his wife didn't like her checking him out, LOL! His goal was to get below…

I am in my 30's, a mom of 5 (ages 15-5) and a full time college student. Finding the time is one of my biggest struggles.
-
I agree! There are many things my husband and I were used to having. Little by little we switched to healthier ways to cook things. An example, my husband "thought" he hated sweet potatoes. My husband eats alot of them now and loves them.
-
I am the opposite when it comes to being out of the house. I am a full time college student so sitting at the table at home doing homework I get bored and eat more. I have started studying at the college library more just to avoid sitting at home where all the food is.

We have a chocolate lab (his name is Mud :) He is not very good on a leash but still I try to walk him everyday. Hoping he will calm down a bit as he ages, he will be 2 (people years) this summer. I had never heard of bikejoring before and had to google. I love biking and have just been waiting for the weather to warm up…
